But I couldn't recognize what song of Mick's it was that he would be thanking them. Only later when I heard the Verve/Oldham version(s) of the song did I get it. Condign closure legally, though.

The Stones' Super-Bowl-halftime-show START ME UP exasperated me when I watched it live in California because the start of Woody's guitar solo was muted. I assumed some nescient technician's screw up meant it was muted everywhere. When I later happened across the European "version" on YouTube I was surprised and pleased Woody's solo was full volume from the start.
