Leave that to Lady Gaga - who did a silly enough job at it - Mick already addressed his death in the press - why would anyone think that the Rolling Stones would even entertain a stupid idea like this??

Quotekuenzer QuoteNate The last I heard which was very recently was that it will be a new album and like I said before my source of information regarding this is the best you can get. I can't believe people are already being negative about it when the band are in the process of making it and you haven't even heard it yet. Nate The Stonesfans won't like it no matter what. Th

honestly - i was really excited when i heard "Trouble" - then the 2 that followed - to my ears anyway - sounded like meandering pieces of crap - then "Robbed Blind" pops up and this is again exciting - sounds like he's sincerely feeling it and perhaps even channeling his old pal Gram - I hope what follows is as promising as "Robbed Blind" & "Trouble&qu

if this album is received well - it's going to kick Mick into overdrive to get a new Rolling Stones album out - just like after "Talk Is Cheap" - let's just hope it'll be better than "Steel Wheels" hahaha - and to go along with what was said earlier by some - "Trouble" grows on you after a few listens...

i'm sure this has already been discussed - but out of boredom i pulled out the "Steel Wheels Monitor Mix" cd i have - i've always kinda hated the record - but this mix is so much more listenable and guitar driven - it's like on the official release they mixed the balls right out of it - this version is a more fitting exit for Bill Wyman - in my opinion anyway...

at the very least they could've stuck "Travelin' Man" on there - maybe they do have some grand scheme to release some sort of 'Anthology" project at some point - or maybe they just don't feel like screwing with it -

Hi Gang - next week my radio show falls on 7/3/13 and i was thinking of doing one hour in tribute to Brian in addition to my regular stuff...playing songs written about him...or perceived to be about him... off the top of my head "Shine A Light" comes to mind...as does "Rumour Sets The Woods Alight" by The Records (1980)...but it is college radio and i can't be too con

Unfortunately it is getting worse - the band has no any feel for this song, and Jagger seemingly doesn't even try to try. Taylor's improvised lyricism is nice to follow, and he won't let us down, even though Jagger rushes up t

...well...after reading that article in Rolling Stone...all of us...(ESPECIALLY ME)...that were hoping that they would at least come together and try and write an LP that makes up for "A Bigger Bang"...have Mick Taylor on it...and go out on a high note...can finally put that idea to bed... i honestly don't think they can sit down and write together...especially after the 's

QuoteMax'sKansasCity I wonder how many here who appear so emotional, and overly concerned, about getting Taylor more songs on this tour and spending so much of their time and effort posting so many words here, have ever spent a fraction of that time and effort either thinking about, or actually doing something, to help fight against REAL problems in this world. For instance..... Slavery

QuoteWindyHorses I don't hate Mick Taylor. I do feel sorry for all of the many HUGE Mick Taylor fans who are upset and unhappy because Mick Taylor is only getting one song per concert on this tour. I wish, for their sakes, that it was different. But, it's not. I also think wishing and hoping that it will change is a waste of energy. Jagger has his guest list and Taylor gets one tra

If Brian Jones was still alive they would probably only let him play on one song too... the fact that Mick Taylor only gets one song is silly...they just don't want to own up to the fact that HE was the reason that those LP's were so great...and then he left the band...to his detriment... the fact that the cackling idiot Gwen Stephani and that pretty boy redneck Keith Urban get ju

i just don't get it...in 1989 they were charging $28.50 for the bad seats...and now it's 20 times (sic) that...at this point...they won't live long enough to see all of the money they will make from these shows...i'd like to see them again...but i won't be able to... i hope for those that do that they at least switch up the setlist a little...but i doubt "Doom &am

even though they were playing better than they have in years a couple months ago...that barely merits what they charge to see them...with binoculars... i'm sick of these greedy bastards..if they are smart...they will try and record something with Mick Taylor and leave something as a lasting legacy that can be listened to for years to come instead of doing a few shows that few can afford..
