Yes Flacnvinyl, I wasn't happy with the ticket prices at all (and I had to pay double face for two from a well known resale rip-off outlet) - but the concert was GREAT and the musicians (all of them) were brilliant - I just had to go and I've no regrets. Somebody should change the law with regard to resale of tickets - I think we all agree on that one. Unless you are one of the "in

I don't know why some people comment badly about any of the band to be honest. We are lucky that the greatest band ever are still in existence and touring at all. I think Chuck is great and he fits in well with the band. Some idiots say Mick and Keith (or others) look tired etc. - makes me laugh - wouldn't anyone look tired after a two and a half hour gig, even younger bands would be kn

I seem to remember Mick saying, early into the gig, somthing like "we are now gonna do the full Their Satanic Majesties Request album from start to finish"... ha, does he think that we are not too keen on that one? (I luv 2000 Man)... "till the next time..."

Honky Tonk Women has got to be played in my opinion - all time classic PLUS DEFO Satisfaction - I would have liked to hear the latter played as the opener on the 25th but I am not complaining whatever they wish to play (it was brilliant to hear I Wanna Be Your Man, I must admit although it was a surprise opener for me. Other classics I personally would like included are Ruby Tuesday, As Tears G

I cant believe what I'm reading here Naturolust... Mick standing still singing perfectly... ha.. why bother going to a live show, just stay home and listen to the record which has been recorded perfectly... and a live show is much more than just a perfect record... even if Mick is past his best at 70 (and who isn't?) he is still a million times better than any other frontman on the plan

I was at the second to last gig on ABB at 02 London with my brother and we both thought Mick was at his brilliant best - the place rocked to the rafters and as I looked around during the encore of BS I knew there had to be more since it was soooo good. "till the next time..."

for me Winter is the masterpiece in there, a melancholy but special album. I seem to remember they said it was recorded in Jamaica and they didn't have backing singers but it was all their own voices? I love the interchanging voices of Mick and Keef on Coming Down Again. If you are in the right mood its a great album. See you all next Sunday...

I do listen to the early albums and especially Aftermath (which was their first album of own songs) quite a lot but I suppose it depends how old you are - the Stones have gone through different periods with great music at all stages of their evolution - I have been lucky enough to grow up with the greatest band there ever will be, and the best thing is... they are still doin' it! "Well well well, sometimes I think about ya baby..." - will be at 02 for the 25th... and did I hear rumours of Bill & MT?? Mmmm... if only MT on Winter with the boys... what a great song Winter is, and I have never heard them play it live, although I belive MT of course does it in his shows... well well well, I can dream on, "sometimes I wanna wrap my coat around ya..." h

I think it does somewhat depend on one's age... however, my opinion is.. Outstanding Albums (all UK):- The Rolling Stones Out Of Our Heads Aftermath Beggars Banquet Let It Bleed Get Yer Ya Yas Out Sticky Fingers Exile (some great stuff but would have been better condensed into a single album for me) Mind you, the proof of the pudding is in the "playing" and I must

Well I have been going to see the Stones live for some 40 years now and wile they were playing the encore of Brown Sugar at the penultimate 02 Gig in London at the end of the bigger bang tour, I looked around from my seat in the front block and could see a full crowd singing and dancing up to the roof of the place and I have never heard Brown Sugar much better - Mick was bouncing, sizzling and sn

149. 2000 Man
I was just playing this track off Their Satanic Majesties - always loved it. I can remember playing this years ago in the late 60s and 70s and I used to think that the year 2000 was so distantly into the future that it would probably never arrive - I thought maybe everyone would be flying around in spaceships by then! I even remember getting a liitle window box at my house and planting seeds to
