When I went to Cuba a few years ago between Stones tours I said to myself this would be the perfect place to see the Stones. Warm people who know how to dance and party, of all ages. And a great weather all year. Of all the places I have visited over the years, Cuba is still my favorite. How I wish the Stones could finally go there. There is absolutely no reason why they would not go there. They

Ryanair takes you there for almost nothing from Stanstead London. I usually pay 20-30 pounds for a ticket with a return flight, and with tax, all included. That is 40 dollars/euro.

Don't expect the shows to be announced early. No reason to announce them early, as things may change, and they will sell out in a few days anyway. The shows in South East Asia were announced just a few weeks before they were actually supposed to be on. See IORR news 2003 about Singapore, Bangkok, India and China. Jan-27-2003: Asia rumoured shows in IORR news Feb-16-2003: Hong Kong shows

And for the record. Porto is a great and unique city. In fact the city center is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. I went through Porto for the Coimbra show in 2003, and just loved the city and that area. Plus the great crowd of course.

I will not publish the name of the site here. The reason is quite obvious. They go to Toronto to rehearse, not to perform. If there are 500 people queuing outside the rehearsals location then there will be security issues, privacy issues, and the whole point of reheasring in Toronto will fail. This is the kind of info which travel by word of mouth - literally. Just like names of their hotels, whe

Good reason to see the Stones in Spain and Portugal. Lower ticket prices, lower expenses in general, nice weather and always great crowd. UK is now most expensive, almost like US prices for tickets. But it is hard to avoid swinging London - their home town. Also, for the record, Germany is great, because expences are nice, hotels at 40 euro or less many places in the summer, and I just love these

Well it is just my personal opinion. RS.com is perfect. You may or may not like rthe price tag but it works. If you are sitting on the fence and you are saving thiose 100 dollars then you save the dollars and may not get as good tickets. If you use their system then you get better tickets and easier access to club shows. I am a mathematician really, and this is very simple statistics and maths

I must have said this at least 30 times over the past few years. If you want to have easier access to Stones tickets. get the RS.com membership. Now. Not later. That is the official site. They are in charge. You pay $100 and you get privileges vs. tickets. If a Stones ticket is not worth that much to you- $100 extra - then use the regular sales channels - where 300 million people from USA, same n

If the sun is shining into your face you wear sunglasses. Everybody at the press conference had sunglasses except for Charlie. Also, Ronnie needs glasses in order to see more than 6 feet, so may be he got shaded glasses.

I would be careful about buying from strangers these days. A ticklet may be completely legit but it may be cancelled in the computer, because it may have been reported stolen or lost. If you buy outside from private people then don't spend more than you can loose. Most of the people who sell are real and honest, but there are a few rotten apples in the basket. Be aware. Try the box office on

It is all in your mind. What you want to see. They bring in two or three packs of Marlboro before show start. Nicely positioned in front of Charlie' drum kit on Keith side. Then the Stones play for 2 hours. Keith don't touch those cigarettes for two hours, except for when he is doing his own set. Then he is picking one - 1 - cigarette - for half a minute - then he is throwing it on sta

If I fly in from Europe on show day then I have to admit there have been times I have been sleeping on my chair when the warm-up have been on. That is the only time you can sleep in the chair without being thrown out becuae they think you are drunk or something. So it is ok if they are not that exciting. Of course this is very selfish of me, but at least I don't miss anything important, righ

I will advice people here to do trades. If you don't need 4 tickets then use the IORR Buy/Sell/Trade pages to make contacts, trades and swap so that you get 4 shows and not just one out of one membership. It should not be that hard. A lot of us go to multiple shows, and the pre/post-sales offer is a superb way of getting rid of 95% of the queue. Mind you, in some cities this time around the

As far as I know the RS.com servers have NEVER been down. During high-demand peaks that is. When they are most needed. And when 90% of all web servers fail. If you are a professional IT person who are in charge of a high-demand web cluster system like a band or a ticket sales or anything high on volume and bandwidth in a short time frame say 10 minutes when tickets are being released then you wil

If you want to be in a queue with 300 million people from Norh America who want to buy tickets for the Stones on tour then feel free to join the queue free of charge. If you want to narrow down this queue to say a few thousand hard core fans then all you have to pay is 100 dollars. That is 25 dollars per ticket. Tickets at the high end cost 300-400 dollars. 25% is less than 10% of that face value

Do a search for MSG on this forum and you will see this has been covered in detail earlier this week. General I will highly recommend the "Search" here. It will keep the information flow a lot more compact, and number of threads will not be that massive. Thanks!
