Quotebabyblue That’s unfortunate bout Zak. Yes it’s time Who retired. I won’t be going to the Vancouver show.I’ve never seen them at all. Go to the show. They still kick ass live. Still a better live band than 95 percent of other bands out there. They play tight and sound great

Quotespikenyc This is really unfortunate and an embarrassment for Pete & Roger and their legacy. Steve Jordan commented on Zaks post - "Zak.... we all know what's up... just keep rockin' like your dad.... it's all good... it's been said, "the truth will set you free".... You will be surely missed and everyone will FEEL IT! If the band doesn't care

Quotetatters Quotepeoplewitheyes I wonder if the 'farewell' tag will drum up more ticket sales? Seems they've been heavily discounting them on recent tours. The only thing that might have generated any real interest at this point would have been if they really had fired Zak, and then brought back Kenney Jones to do the final tour. That would have at least reunited three-f

Oh really, and tell me what have you achieved and overcome in your life to call Eric a schmuck. What do you want my medical records or my family’s obituaries?

Quotekeefriffhards Quoteds1984 Eric is still good at jamming, riffing and rythming, but once going into soloing the ageing is becoming very noticeable. I think Eric is guilty of being lack luster with some performances, especially with Layla as you mentioned, but there are plenty of examples of Eric still being able to kill it with his solos, especially when he's in the right mood.

The guy was a flash in the pan. Just like Jim Morrison. A semi poser with a mama’s boy toughness. Beer muscles that was afraid of a mouse. A playground bully.

A few songs in, he explained to the audience that the recent press stories emanating from an "inside source" about dressing room rows were FAKE NEWS and never happened!! We Won't Get Fooled Again, then... He tells the story starting at 4 minutes in. Guess we'll never know th

QuoteMartinB Quotepeoplewitheyes I thought Zak played great at the RAH, but the drum sound was terrible. Muted and quiet. Level 42 were the warm up act, and their drums sounded so much more vital and kicked you in the guts. Is it a simple difference of elec. v acoustic drum kits? I love the Who dearly, and think Roger has an incredible voice, but I have increasingly come to the conclusion

QuoteStoneage Confirms her engagement to Mick Jagger? They are not marrying - is that the confirmation? Which is a bad deal for her. Now she needs to rely on Jagger being generous enough to buy her a house and secure her income since she has a child to raise. The child is her income insurance. He bought her a mansion in Florida but I think she sold it recently.

QuoteMongoose What does everyone think of an extended residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas? No. I go to see The Stones, not graphics on a ceiling. Bands are not allowed to use their PA equipment. The Sphere has it's system that can only be used. Bands are the secondary attraction when you in there. Look at some pictures of U2 from The Sphere.
