I guess the shows in Boston cater for those folks living in the New England states such as Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Rhode Island did well back in '65 ChrisL!

Now the triumphant Hackney Diamonds US tour has come to an end, it got me thinking.....in all their years of touring the United States, there can't be many states they have never played. Any tour historian out there know the answer to this question? Just curious!

I agree with you there spikenyc, I caught the show at the Sphere 10 days ago and my mind was officially blown by the scale and creativity of the visuals. It was a trippy experience which perfectly fitted the Dead & Co's music and vibe. As others have said, I don't think it would suit the Stones at all. I won't be going, but I would be fascinated to see how the Eagles music is i

Quotesyrel Quotepaulywaul O - the memories ! I fondly recall queueing up (wherever the hell it was in central London, can't remember right now, it was either TOWER RECORDS or HMV) with my mate Eric to get tickets for this show, and in due course - it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Have the bootleg, that version of SOME GIRLS is scorching ! Definitely due for an official release.

Shocking news indeed. I only met Gazza a handful of times, so didn't know him well but I always enjoyed his informative and often amusing posts. He will be greatly missed. @SimonN.....well said and nicely put.

QuoteBeast Me too! I have the same reservations as Bliss about Scarlett Johannsson being the voice of Anita, who I ran into three or four times over the years. Her accent was not like that! One of those times was at a Marianne Faithfull concert - or rather just outside, where she was hanging out during the interval having a few sneaky puffs on a fag. She was dressed all in black but was we

This is now official and it will be on Disney+ from the 8th May. I was fortunate to have been invited to a screening of this film last year after which we were sworn to secrecy in case they didn't get the go-ahead for the release. If you dig the Beatles, this is more great footage which has been given the full Peter Jackson treatment.

The film 'Suburban Steps to Rockland - the story of the Ealing Club' was released in 2017. There will be a screening and Q&A at ACTONE cinema in Ealing on the 12th May at 2.15pm. The Ealing Club is considered to be the birthplace of British R&B and the Stones played there throughout 1962. Film screening details here -

Looks like these photos are going to remain unseen, apart from online. The Lucy Bell Gallery is 'temporarily closed' according to their website. Not to be deterred, I went to the address (which happens to be nearby), and found it is a gated community which is mainly residential. A resident turned up while I was there and having commented "you don't look like a robber" let

Quotepeoplewitheyes "I'm a seeker, I'm a really desperate man'' Does anyone have a spare ticket for next week they would love to pass on to a long-time and very much appreciative fan? The Albert Hall shows are next week, and although I would love to go, I simply cannot afford the outlay. I know it's a charity show, I would happily make a donation for it to the TC

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Wonder if Ronnie and any of the others will be at the Teenage Cancer Trust shows at RAH on March 18/20. Fingers crossed… I would say the most likely date for a Ronnie guest appearance would be the 24th March. 'Ovation' - Roger's farewell to 24 years of TCT shows at the Albert Hall.

There may not be much fog on the Tyne in May, but Lindisfarne are certainly still around and touring extensively this year, although not playing Newcastle itself whilst you are there.

The last show I went to was The Hollies at the London Palladium. There are still two original members of the band, Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliott, and their record breaking claim to fame is........they have toured EVERY year since 1962!
