Quoterbk It appears we are going to have one on-sale for the US tour, this Friday at noon. No platinum, no fan club, no this-that-or the other pre-sale bullsh*t. Quite refreshing, actually. Presales start tomorrow...

QuoteGasLightStreet Not going to share any links but there's a rumor that Axl will join AC/DC for the 2025 NA tour. Yet no one knows anything in regard to how or why. Rose did a pretty good job filling in for Brian in 2016 but since then, with GNR, he sounds completely castrated and unable to remotely sing yet alone sound like Axl. Ever since Malcom left AC/DC has become a bit of a c

Interesting artist for sure. I saw her onstage at Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam in Nashville 2023. Immediately bought tickets to see her in Detroit a month or so later... She cancelled. Sadly, seems like a fairly regular occurrence with her.

QuoteBig Al QuoteTravelinMan QuoteKurt Great stuff, thanks for sharing. I love this guy, he's a generational genius. In your opinion what makes him a genius? He’s a producer of ‘popular music’ The term, ‘genius’, should be reserved for people that enabled intellectual change and thinking: Einstein; Darwin, etc. He helps to create pop records; a lowbrow medium. He might be perceived to b

QuoteTravelinMan QuoteKurt Great stuff, thanks for sharing. I love this guy, he's a generational genius. In your opinion what makes him a genius? Good morning and thanks for asking... In my not-so-humble opinion, Watt has navigated an extremely difficult industry with the expertise of a genius. He plays, he produces, he writes, he creates, he facilitates, he transcends, he works. Quotez QuoteTravelinMan QuoteMeise QuoteTravelinMan Weirdly the record is in the key of F, but they played it in ‘73 and ‘77 in E. I’m wondering if they sped the tape up to take up less space on the record a la Fingerprint File. The Stones have done that with several song, i.e. they dropped the key down by a half or whole tone. Obviously better to sing for Mick avoiding voice fatigue or even vo

QuoteMonkeyMan2000 Quotelatvianinexile Crazy. Flew over from Europe three times for 4 shows total. Crazy indeed. For future generations I mean. I drove an SUV from Detroit to Cleveland and back. Then drove it round trip to Chicago twice. Flew to Las Vegas round trip and then again to Los Angeles. Future generations won’t get the chance to see The Rolling Stones so go now while you still

Quoterbk QuoteHairball Many people claim ACDC 'blew the Stones off the stage' at the SARS benefit. I'm not a huge ACDC fan in the first place, but even if I was, I find this hard to believe. Was anybody here at SARS who can chime in regarding this myth? I was and AC/DC was definitely the highlight of the day. They did a raging set and then the Stones kept the crowd of a half mi

Fantastic, thank you! My daughter and I were at the September 29th show that year right at tip of the A stage and it was phenomenal. Aerosmith was an incredible band and these Vegas gigs were mostly fabulous! (Lucky enough to catch three of them at that venue)
