I love Oasis since Morning Glroy. Have seen them several times live. Oasis were a great live band. I'm also digging both solo records. Which one is better? I can't say. I think they are different. It depends on the mood you're in. The Beady Eye record is more like the one "you're going to the pub with your pals" thing. And Noel's is the record for a evening at

if they quit after Steel Wheels,... I would never had the chance to see them live. So this would have been my bad. I'm so glad, that they kept on for so long. I'll never forget the theatre show in Utrecht. This was by far my best & most intense concert experience ever.

Uhhhhh This one looks awesome and sounds like pure rock'n'roll. I'm so glad that they are going to release stuff from the days, that I missed due to my age.

If there was an opening ceremony concert, that would be a place for the stones. But the 15 min set at a opening ceremony isn't the right thing for the stones. Let's leave this part to Elton John.

One of the best live bands around. You can always expect an up to 3 hours show. Bought tickets to their show in Cologne this August. :-) There is also a documentary about the band coming out next week. It will be shown in certain cinemas around the globe for one day only. I hope I can make it to Kaiserslautern. Music on a big screen and stereo is always a better than at home.

I guess that they record the sound of every show, as this is no big problem these days. Even a lot of smaller bands are doing this. The video might be recorded of every bigger bigger. Again no big deal, if you already have cameras for the big screens.

320k VBR that's the setting I'm using. As diskspace isn't a problem these days, you should go for the highest resolution. can you hear a difference? as i haven't done a blind test yet, i can't tell you.

I'm listening to the record since last friday. Great one. Straight forward Rock'n'Roll record. Do I miss the Noel songs? Yeah, kinda. But Oasis are no more. Different band, different songs. That's ok for me. As not all of the songs where written by Liam, it proofs that also the other guys are good songwriters. I hope to catch them live this year. Guess this is where those gu

75 € for the super special deluxe car park, right next to the merchandising booth with shirts for only 50 €. Than you'll pass the first bar, with beer for no more than 15 €. Finally you'll get to your seat, you'd paid 200 € for. Everybody complains in the end, but everybody will be there. ;-)

Quotescottkeef A friend of mine thats on this board who's an "Americana" artist out of Nashville once commented all digital recording these days tries to sound analog so it makes one wonder. That's right. There are lots of tape saturation plugins on the market. Some are good, some are not good. But I haven't heard a single plugin that gives you the analog sound you get

Done that with most of my Cds. It ain't no big deal. But you'll need lots of time to convert 500+ CDs and lots of HD-Space. One thing you need to decide first is the file format you want to use (flac, wav, aiff, aac, mp3,...). And you need to name each file properly. Sounds like a nice project for the winter.

Quoteteleblaster Some smaller companies and luthiers are making relics that out-perform the Custom Shop models (I was very tempted by a Bill Nash tele once, but the price went too high). I once played a Lefty Bill Nash Tele at Vintage & Rare Guitars at Denmark Street, London. great sound & feel. If I'm going to get a new Tele, the Bill Nash guitar's a certainly on the top

QuoteSpud Modelling amps are an entire subject on their own ! They can sound very much like the real thing ..but they don't feel like the real thing to the player. Modelling technology has a way to go before it can replicate the feel and dynamics of a good tube amplifier. I'm comparing the real tube amps with the modelling ones or modelling software for a few years now. The so
