I wonder about the recording date of the first batch of shows. In show #4 Ronnie said that he played with Pearl Jam some weeks ago. Either this was described in "Ronnie-Time", or they recorded that show already in late Summer 2009. N

It's one of the stories that Ronnie told in his last week's radio show. He played the studio version of Paint It Black afterwards. N

No, it's not. But Slash could be on Ronnie's album too. It's just the L.A. music-scene networking with each other. Ronnie just mentioned his album in his radio show, saying that Bobby Womack is on it as well. Unfortunately he did not say when it will be released. Maybe he has a problem to get a proper record deal for it... N

Never heard or read about Mick Jagger being on No Reason To Cry (only Chris Jagger is. And of course Ronnie Wood). Mick Turner as pseudonym for him would make sense, but it's the name of Eric Clapton's assistant, who was already roadie in Cream. N

The bonus disc of Exile is more like Tattoo You 2. For Tattoo You they went through the leftovers from 1973 - 1980. For the bonusdisc of Exile they worked with leftovers from mid-1969 until Spring 1972, totally ignoring that some of the tracks were done for LIB and SF in the first place. Jagger added guitar, percussion and new vocals. He also wrote some new lyrics and re-titled and edi

I guess I found the source where I had it from: James Karnbach/Carol Bernson write about this impromptu gig in their book The Ultimate Guide on page 387: "...the Stones played quite a few songs while the cameras rolled, one of which was Jimmy Reed's Baby You Don't Have To Go"... N

My guess: Title 5 is an instrumental they discovered and liked and as it was never properly titled, they stuck with the working title. Maybe it will turn out as an instrumental we already know as "Instrumental" or with a misnamed title which some bootlegger suggested long time ago. But I wouldn't bet for it as I'm sure the Stones have at least dozens of instrumentals i

As far as I read about this project they planned 8 tracks on a second disc. Good Time Woman one of them. Now we know three more titles and should be excited that there will be three *new and unheard* tracks, instead of alternate takes only. (We all knew before that there weren't much leftovers from the Exile-sessions). N

Here is a percussionist with a curriculum vitae that claims that he played percussion on a 70's Stones-tour. His name is Manolo Badrena. He was with Weather Report in the mid-70's. He looks very different though, so I'm still very positive that it's Manuel Kellough on the picture above. Anyone ever heard about Badrena and a relation to the Stones? N

The title is probably ironic. All of his solo albums have been good or excellent, so I'm really looking forward to it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it won't be another Automatic (his 1987 album which never saw the light of day). N
