Quotebobo Funny with all the whining about setlists, and when people set up what they hope for in the new setlist, it is again full of the songs they moan about. For me I include some hits in an attempt to strike a balance of hits/obscure in the setlist. I’d strike TD too. HTW, JJF, SMU have been played at every show and won’t go anywhere. The rest are dispensable.

I was reading an interview with Rich Robinson the other day and I never realized that he plays a lot of his songs in Open G. No wonder why I love the Crowes so much!!!

QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax I get the impression that the entire culture is in terminal decline. I am so glad I have lived through the mighty renaissance of popular music that was the second half of the 20th century - and a bit of the next - that magic meeting of technology, audience, expectation, and attitude. That door started to close, really, with the death of Amy Winehouse, and certainly when the

Weren't they released as part of the special Ward release? Or was that just the Blu-Rays? I didn't bother with Olympia, because I thought I had it all (Video & Audio) as part of that release. Thought all 4 shows were included. I might still pick up this one just as a completist, but not a priority.

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteVoodooLounge13I've since come to tolerate Rambler live, as I realize that it's not going anywhere, unfortunately. I'd rather have Shelter over Rambler live if given the choice. I've never liked the dark lyrics, and (not to set off a sh-show on here), but in a time when so many other lesser songs have been removed, I'm shocked that this one survi

Quoterollmops QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteVoodooLounge13 Where are they going? It's just the 2 of them at this point. They've given us some divine music over the years, but that last lil covers ep was rather forgettable. The VINYL of Before The Frost...Until The Freeze is quite possibly one of THE best albums ever recorded. I just listened again the other day. Absolutely exquisite. Ap

QuoteStoneage If radio spin is an indicator Mess It Up is the one getting the most of it. Probably because it's "modern" and radio friendly (R&B, pop). I wonder if they will release a fourth single? There's no physical release for Mess It Up, right? Just digitally released and the remix?

One Hit would make a phenomenal opening number!!! Snarling guitars could be starting behind the smoke and then colored lights/lasers whipping all over the stadium as Steve comes in on the drums. Pyrotechnics going off at the first It took just one HIT!! Would be awesome!!

A true gem!!! I have a playlist I created of jazz-influenced songs of Keef's, with some Norah Jones thrown in (LOVE their ballad/duet on CEH). Makes for a great play! Use it as the background music for a story/book I'm hoping to write.

If you consider the history regarding why the Japanese releases have bonus tracks, I do whether the concept is warranted in the streaming-age. Is there really such a huge black market for CD's in Japan, today? My understanding is that they added bonus tracks as an incentive for the would-be Japanese consumer to not look
