And seeing him live during that period was also incredible and more important, fun. But, I just cant listen to him anymore. I dont know if its all the h

Best song from any of the Stones in the past 20 years-- I wish the Stones had recorded it and released it as a single, I bet it would have done pretty well in the charts. I love Keith's "pop" songs: 'Happy", "Eileen", "How I Wish"--- I wish he'd do more of that type I was lucky enough to see Keith & the Winos perform Eileen in Boston at the

I think he would have done some stuff with Alexis Korner and his band, maybe some things with John Mayall, some more world music recordings with Jojouka and some Indian musicians, maybe some studio sideman sessions form friends like Hendrix, Lennon, Harrison, Dave Mason....but ultimately I think he still would have faded out in the end...too many problems

Ypu know what ? Its going to be FUN. Pure and simple. Brian Wilson will make sure that they have the best backing musicians, and the set list will be great, and everyone is going to love seeing them in concert again. there's nothing you can do about Dennis and Carl not being there- but it wll be a really fun night out for Beach Boys fans. It will be fun-- thats what music and Rock n Roll is

I never really thought of the Stones doing Disco-- I always thought "Miss You", "Hot Stuff", "Fingerprint File" and others as more urban, inner-city funk. The same vein as the Ohio Players, late-period Temptations, the Dramatics, etc Rod Stewart, Macca, Bee Gees, and almost eveyone else was certainly on the radio-Disco bandwagon, but I never considered the Stones

For what its worth, Crosby Stills and Nash spent the better part of two years trying to record and album ( of oldies ) with Rick Rubin producing.... on paper it sounded great, but after all that time CSN shelved the project because of differences with Rubin... But I do think he should be given a special place in Heaven for all the great work he did with Johnny Cash in the last 10 years of his l

I have the book-- I read it decades agos-- it's by Richard DiLello, who moved from New York to London in the late 60's and wound up working at Apple Records as the "House Hippie" in Derek Taylor's division. Very funny book, great Beatle stories, good insight to the inner workings of Apple. Worth a read for sure.
