Quoteproudmary ' Although I loved him and he swore undying love...I felt very unsure of him. I had weaned him off drugs, but they had been replaced by sex.' she weaned him off drugs ? I find this statement a little confusing as there are more than few references to Mick smoking reefer and/or snorting coke during the late 70's & early 80's (ie SNL rehersals)

here's an article by the same writer that did the Steve Miller interview. How to solve the concert flameout By DARRYL STERDAN, QMI Agency Tell us your nightmare stories Going to concerts used to be simple. You stood in line. You bought a ticket. You went to the show. You picked up a T-shirt, had a warm beer and a dusty hot dog. And you left with enough m

I can across this interview with Steve Miller and thought some people here might be interested in what he has to say. Steve Miller, the unoriginal By DARRYL STERDAN, QMI Agency Steve Miller's new release, Bingo!, his first new studio album in 17 years, is a collection of blues covers. Steve Miller is back in the game — and playing by his own rules as usual. The sin

WOW !!!!! this is why they shouldn't tour - they'll never look or sound that good again, sure this clip probably has had some "sweetening" done to it but the sound from just Jim Price & Bobby Keys is fantastic. can't wait for the dvd release of l & g

Quotecanadian.sway it has been played on q107. no doubt it will be dropped before long, but nice to hear it while we can. it also was played on y108 (http://www.y108.ca) here in Hamilton (just down the road a piece from Toronto). the morning jocks raved about it saying that it goes to show how great of an album Exile On Main St. is that a song this good is was not good enough to be included.

QuoteHandova Your comments produced me mixed feelings - shall I try the Ron Wood's Autobiography, or just pass and buy me some CDs instead? ... my suggestion is if you want to read Ronnie's book borrow a copy from your local library. It's not very well written but it does have a couple of good "stories".

Quoterocksofff years ago (maybe 10), charlie watts was supposed to be on dave's show, but for some reason he left the green room and didn't come out. dave was really upset and quite nasty to charlie in his monologue, saying something like "well, if you were going to have a stone not show, charlie'd be the one you'd want." also, mick once appeared very briefly, jus

A couple of thoughts about the half time show as a spectacle it was great the Who were not as bad as I thought they were going to be be (specifically Roger's vocals) Roger sounded flat - if he was mostly lip syncing you would think they would of used a better vocal performance. time to lose the 60's classic rock bands, maybe have Foo Fighters, Metallica, Green Day, Tom Petty, Pe

Quotebassplayer617 I believe the truth of the matter is that Ronnie has had a "minder" (meaning Jo) by his side on recent tours to help keep his head on straight. In 2010, he's gonna be on his own. Can he handle it? maybe Ronnie & Charlie should room together on the next tour
