Xavel already does a lot of shoddy remastering too. Just seems like a waste to do work on top of that, unless there's something very specific to fix. I remember their 2015 U2 Chicago release had some horrible sibilance which made it unlistenable. But with 2 minutes of work, I tamed the sibilance and it didn't make the ears bleed anymore.

My understanding is a bunch of remasters on this board have been poorly done and without the permission of the taper. Daspyknows (and I) are not a fan of people who do sloppy remasters, yet think they're god's gift to audio. Learn the craft and keep some quality control measures. But hey, to each their own. Quality is subjective sometimes. Doing it without tapers' permission

Is it 4K high res? Most YT footage is from cell phones, which generally don't do 4K. And like I said before, it would make a big quality difference in getting the original files, not the YT compressed files.
