Oh, why can`t they do away with Shattered and She`s So Cold! Those songs have always sounded like punk-rock to me!

-Both the new and old ones. It gets so predictable! There is no real change and variation before we see avalanche-like differences in the set list each night. Show the audience who`s the boss, you or them! Behave like real entertainers!

As long as The Stones isn`t a "has been" band, they should play more new stuff, no matter what the ticket buyers say, what so ever!!

We should be happy for the melody and harmony there is on ABB. Not many band are this melodic today.

I can`t follow you, but I think I see what you mean. We shouldn`t forget that IORR is a lot more uneven album, with a lot more fillers, 50%. What I am glad that you don`t g

I wish they could throw "Start me up" away for a while and just play it occasionally.

When I first listened to the whole album through, there were 2 songs I immediately liked, Biggest Mistake and Rain Fall Down. I still like them as much as the first time, but now I see there are so many others that are as equal as good. Oh, what an album! There are too many to mention. Listen with your heart, and not like the intelectualizing critics with their spoiled ears.

"-which nobody thought they could do without Taylor" Could they do "Time Waits For No One" without Taylor? Could they do "Fingerprint File" without Taylor? Could they do "Sway" without Taylor? I think they could, as long as they could do "Can`t You Hear Me Knocking" without Taylor.

"Dropping as lead in Norway, no chance to see the then in this country next summer." Well, I only have to say congrats to you Swedes. That`s how it should be, and that`s strong!! The only big names I care to see are The Stones and The Floyd. Sad, but it looks like the Valle Hovin days are over for me...

"Well then the Norwegians will just have to take a boat ride to Sweden or Denmark... that's not such a big deal !!" First I have to admit that I felt extremely baffled when the news came on that said The Stones skip Norway. However, solving the problem that then arised, was not just a matter of creativity. The travel always comes on top of the ticket price. But I have to admit t

Thank you all for great response. That cleared up some things for me. Anyway, this also says something about Norwegians compared to Swedes, and that Stones in a little country as Norway is still a big thing. In the light of this, how can people fantasize about getting Stones to Trondheim? Lerkendal is a big venue, but people in Trondheim are not great concert goers.

Due to bad ticket sales on the B2B tour, Norwegian concert-goers were punished with no Stones visit on the Licks tour in 2003. The venue could take more than 40 000 visitors, but on the B2B tour, only 30 000 tickets were sold. On the Steel Wheels tour in `89, Stones in Norway were big time, -first visit since 1965. Then came the Vooddoo Lounge tour visit in`94/95. Three years later, in `98, i

Norwegian leading newspapers went apeshit when "Stripped" was issued back in 1995. They gave it six points out of six, both in VG and Dagbladet. It looks like some baby-boomers in the editorship finally got their Rolling Stones dream come true. I think they were too quick. They should have given it some more listenings. The music mag Mojo gives it 3 out of 5 in their Rolling Stones spec

Why don`t they dress flamboyant like on that pic from the seventies anymore? Singing in the same mike and everything?

"I was bored in the end when the hit songs came on". -Well, if only more concert goers would be like you. I have personally seen people in the first half of the set behaving bored and talking to each other, while waiting for Honky Tonk Women, + 3-4 more to come. So that`s the level. That`s the people one has to stand shoulders to shoulders among. It`s a shame!

The great thing about at least a little change in the set list each night, is that the audience would feel special. That`s what we want really, knowing that just tonight they played a couple of new ones that the others didn`t get, just because that`s just what they wanted to play this night, in for example Cleveland.

1885. Winter
On the B2B tour they played the most wanted song by the audience. Love is Strong won the vote. Should there be such a chance again, I would suggest Winter from the Goat`s Head Soup album. There are many good ones there.

1886. Too Tight
Is there any change that this song is going to be a show-stopper? Has it ever been played live? Does it have any potential? By the way, do they still do the mindless "rock and roll run out" thing, where they drop the in between talk in the last half of the set , and do the most known songs as a medley? (very disappointing on the B2B tour)

I like BtB. There are strong songs, there are weak songs, and there are two awful songs. Gunface is one of them. How could they possibly make such awful lyrics? It`s awful, just awful! And it went by without any warning or reaction! People should stop and think. The other one is Flip the Switch. This just isn`t what the Stones is about. Far too fast! Poor melody. Low Down is the best s
