Selling some prints to friends and some others for a few bucks here and there is never an issue. Bands and their merchandising companies get goofy when people get silly with their photos and mass produce them on posters, calenders, t-shirts, mousepads, etc. The average fan taking photos is not a threat. The biggest offenders believe it or not are professional photographers who get photo pas

The cheaper seats are sometimes nowhere to be found in the ticketing system and sometimes not even an option the moment the event goes on sale. I was told the top price for On Stage seating was $250, when I logged in and got in, all that was there were $275 tickets + Fees avail,$28 in service charges, for one ticket. Knowing what I know now about shorter sets, etc, I think I made a mistake.

Since some of you were discussing the best.. how about the worst. My vote goes for: Issac Brock from Modest Mouse. I worked one of their shows, the singer travels seprate and arrived hours late causing all sorts of problems with crowd control and venue. Band arrived at 5 for soundcheck for a 9:15 show, Issac showed up at 11:00, no appolgies on stage and stared at his feet throughout an a

I'm going by someone who just sings, does not play the occassional guitar, harmonica, etc. Please do not laugh at my choice...my vote goes to Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden If you do not understand my choice, find a DVD of them, turn down the sound and put on your favorite record to replace the audio.

They exp[lored the idea last tour and I guess figured that it would not be profitable on the grand scale or too many obsticles. U2 was looking into loading new shows on iTunes, that never surfaced as of yet.

Would it really hurt for them to do at least 25 songs? Where's the fire that they have to stop at 2hrs, would 2 hrs 20 mins hurt? They are taking a day or days off between each show. They are charging up to 5X the average concert ticket price. Sure, we would like to see a 3 hr show and that will never happen, but give a little more bang for the buck.

Former head of security Jim Callaghan scalping tickets? If this was the case, maybe Mick was just upset that Jim was not creative about scalping them. Maybe if Jim was first to sell $100.00 memberships to a half-assed website where discussion board comments are edited and allow people to buy a couple tickets he would have done Mick, Inc proud? But, someone already came up with that, along with ov

Since their Super Bowl set would only last 11 minutes. How about just one song. That won't happen...expect a fast cookie cutter safe set, with MTV kiddies who have no clue who The Rolling Stones are jumoing up and down on the field.

Back in the early 1990's when Chuck was with touring with Eric Clapton, I asked him about setlists and why Eric was playing the same setlist for what seemed like 2 years. His basic response was "If it's not broke, don't fix it" I do agree that RS do not take enough risks when it comes to setlists, I just assume they are more interested in playing to the 95% of the crow
