Do fans deserve an official statement? NO We were given soooo much over the past 6 decades, what more do we want, let alone "demand"?

Off course it is! I don't want to challenge Bjornulf, but if he would find a way (page) for making "direct" links to the relevant Rolling Stones related (possibly English) Wikipedea pages (I'm afraid that could be a hell of a job) IORR would become unbeatable

About Brian … after having read so many books about him (personally I still find Trinka’s book the best) and all those interviews with both band members and others to me Brian is an open book. Just like Per-Arne, I saw all three concerts and yes, (I don't want you to think I scored better with 80 shows, it's just a figure) Cirkus Krone was indeed the hottest and most impressive concert of all the great and memorable concerts of the Rolling Stones I did experience. I never felt so exhausted after any event as after the Circus Krone concert of June 8 2003. I hope Berlin, Wa

In my days of editing a fanzine (long ago) I noticed quite often, on group photos of the band, that Mick at times lifted his heels by pushing his toes. I remember smiling at that (“okay Mick, you made your point”) Great to see he (and Keith at Willie Nelson’s birthday party) are looking great. That really matters to me (don’t forget Ronnie )

I am usually an optimist, but when Keith said in a message “let’s keep our fingers crossed”, I somehow had an uncomfortable feeling. I truly hope there isn’t a “hidden” health issue. Well, as always, there may (will) be a logical explanation

Quoteslane82 Lots of photos here that I've never seen before: Great collection! Quite some of them have made it publically in the past, but this collection sets the mood of those days. I once (21 years ago) bought a unique collection of B&W Stones photos for an international fanzine for quite a bit of money, but with Internet around those (money making) days for photographers have

New musical inspiration, a fresh nose away from his long time "brothers", that's all. Mick would not have had any chance to make it BIG as a solo artist. His charisma was and still is totally linked to the Rolling Stones. The majority of the buyers of his solo albums (just like in the case of Keith) were Rolling Stones fans anyway. Mick in Japan and Australia was nothing more t

QuoteBig Al The 1968 NME Poll Winners’ is definitely one of the Holy Grail’s. The pictures, alone, are fabulous. This was their first live performance in the U.K. since the 1966 British Tour, which I think ended in the November of that year. I suspect their surprise performance was meant to be signify their ‘comeback’ after all the woes of the preceding year. 1968 and Jumpin’ Jack Flash certainly

Idiots have been around as long as the human race is "ruling" this globe. I remember reading (it may have been a story by Bill) that the Stones were sitting at a small AirPort terrace late 64/early 65(?) when a girl spotted them, approached them and pulled hair from the head of one of the band members (could have been Brian or Bill himself). Utterly insane. Ah well, you can't rea

After the first 50th Anniversary concert in the O2 Arena ten years ago, I said to my son, who had joined me, "your dad is a perfectly happy man. A great 50 years celebrated together with Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman (and a couple other guests off course). What more do I want. Everything that happens from now on with the Stones is for me a bonus". Making it to even 60 years! No way! Well,

QuoteGJV I was planning to buy it, but then I read some of the reviews on Amazon that said the author must have really hated Mick because the whole book was very anti-Jagger. A good reason for me to not buy it. This is interesting psychology ... A (sucessful) woman who hates Mick Jagger??? I read she was on tour with the Stones long time ago. What happened? An emancipated woman being treated b

And as far as I know, there's been no paparazzi pics of Mick (or Keith) in L.A. recently which seems unusual as he seems to relish the spotlight surrounded by celebrities. Not even a fan photo of Mick leaving a studio which happened last month in New York...signing autographs, et
