Don't agree with your thoughts on the new album, Roundhay, but definitely agree that Stripped is a great album. Live in a different world now, with information freely avaialble on the internet, but when I saw the Stripped documentary late '95 my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw some of the songs they'd pulled out, eg Shine A Light, Rip This Joint etc. Great versions too. I think the liner notes must contain a typo for Memo From Turner, can't see that it can have been recorded as early as March 1968.... My understanding was that it was written for Performance, filming didn't start until autumn 68 and Jagger's role in it wasn't announced until about June 68.
