oh, just to add. I got the pleasure of seeing the WHO with Kenny Jones on drums 3rd row center in 1979 about a couple of weeks after their Cincinatti incident. Now that was tight, kick ass rock and roll band!

September 25th, 1981 was my first stones show ever. I was 19 years old, had all their albums and plenty of boots by then including Brussels 73, Passaic 78 etc etc etc. I sat out in the hot sun all day so i could be within 75 feet of the stage. I will get shot for saying this, but both George Thorogood and even sucky Journey sounded much better and more tight. The stones musically were horrible. Y

playing to 40,000 when ticket prices go up to $450.00 is pretty damn good. Tickets for JFK in 1981 were $15.00 and the place held 90,000 people. So with inflation in 25 years that 15.00 ticket would probably be about 45.00 today and if tickets for stones shows were 45.00 they could easily play to 90,000 again.

Its a so so album, and it really sounds dated now. I liked it when it came out because it just sounded so fresh compared to Undercover. IT'S A PERIOD PIECE. I remember a Jagger interview at the time where he talked about a Madonna album being danceable but dumb. He succeeded to do this with SHE'S THE BOSS

A very good album. The first 6 songs are just great. The cd takes a big nose dive starting with the title track through Gun, but ends with 2 great songs..Too Far gone, and Brand new set of rules. So my assessment, 8 great songs.
