72 hour countdown is from the time the test is taken... I did mine on the latest appointment possible on the Thursday at 6PM. I was worried I wouldn't get the results in time (they say roughly 30 hours) but my results came within 14 hours. I'm not sure if you need to use arrivecan when driving.
