[...] Tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock I have to go to committee meetings, I have to get across town from Ballybough to C

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotelaertisflash "England has 4 shows on sale and all in bigger venues than the PGE Narodowy. England has 52/53 million people and Poland 38 million". That's right, grzegor67. BTW, given that (a) the Stones added second gig at London stadium and (b) Old Trafford seems to be close to sold out, we can guess that ticket sales in England are not exactly poor sales..

Quotespunky Aiken Promotions still got the Rolling Stones announcement sticky on their facebook page. Even ticketmaster Ireland posted a Rolling Stones @ Croke Park promo video on facebook a few days ago. Quotespunky Posted by Aiken Promotions on facebook: START ME UP! Kick start your Tuesday morning by tuning into RTÉ Radio 1 from 9am as Ryan Tubridy chats to The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood - you don't want to miss it! #StonesNoFilter cool but don't read into that much cause Garth Brooks appeared on many tv/radio shows in the lead up to his cancelled CP shows but at least this R

all this worrying about the licence is scary abd i won't relax til the show is confirmed. Have time booked off work and really looking forward to it. Going to Tears for fears in Dublin on the 2nd May (very pale in comparison to the stones) and be so nice to have another show lined up 2 weeks later

Reputationly speaking (in terms of music history) this will prob be the biggest concert Croke Park will ever host. Not in terms of production or attendance (we have yo wait and see) The guys have been going for almost 60 years, have a string of hits and one of the best live bands of all time. Pure Rock n roll

QuoteTopi Lots of people on Boards.IE saying the Aviva is not an option. Rugby game too close. ? yeah it's Croke Park or nothing another option is Punchestown Racecourse but it's an open field and has no seated areas. It's fits almost the same capacity as Croke Park Slane castle is ruled out too for unknown reasons

First I've heard of it. Highly unlikely as he was in New York around that time frame. I dont recall him having any business or activity in Ireland at that time. You'd imagine if he wanted to se

QuoteIrelandCalling4 Agreed Healy52003, I doubt a back up venue is held. So its Croker or bust I'm afraid. They already have the 3 Croker gigs allowed (alongside other events), so this licence would be a 4th and set a precedent the residents do not want. I'm very hopeful though. intresting facts about these 3 concerts per year thing ok so in 2014 they liceneced 3 One Direction gig
