QuoteHairball Something odd about the statement from Rolling Stone: "Richards even called sessions with Mick Jagger 'really fun'". First of all, I don't think I've ever heard Keith use the word "fun" regarding anything. Secondly, calling something "really fun" seems totally out of character and is not a part of his vocabulary. Thirdly, us

Personally I think this socalled 'moving on' is really only an image (integrity!) that Plant has adopted. For me, artistically he has stopped moving on circa 2002, or 2005 if you will, really. I don't hear much difference between the albums of the last 15 years or so, despite the constant changing of his band's name. He has every right to make the music that he wants to make

They paid them millions to deliver an album .. Record companies aren't the most charitable organizations on the planet. If they are paying for something.. (millions) .. even though it's The Rolling Stones ...they want to know when they will get it. Is to be next year. That is why The Rolling Stones lawyers and Universal execs and their lawyers met and signed off on. Isn't a p

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotegeorgelicks QuoteGasLightStreet A BIGGER BANG sold over a million in the US when it was released originally. It was RIAA certified platinum. It was CERTIFIED Platinum, but the real sales are 650,000 copies. Actually, it was certified Platinum after 5 weeks of release with 276,000 copies sold at the time. How can that be? RIAA goes by what's sold! RIAA goes b

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotekish_stoned why complain if the album comes with 18 tracks, cd can always be programme to play what u want hear.if fans found bootlegs with rubbish sound still buy. I like longer cds then play what one likes.KEEP ROCKING. Because it reveals the weakness of a lack of focus. The Stones recorded over 40 songs for SOME GIRLS. As good as the LP is, they managed to leave some

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteWitness QuoteGasLightStreet Sorry, Hairball! I didn't see that KRiffhard posted it. It's difficult to see what the videos are if you're not paying attention enough if anything is said about them, which seems to be my case - I didn't see it. What happened to being able to see the video? It's been a while since one could see a still of the v

As for the Doors of the 21st Century, at least they had the courtesy to alter the name, but I think eventually there was some legal

Uriah Heep. Curiously, the 'original' line up isnt really what people remember them for, they even had three (I think) drummers for their first album, then switched bass players, until their 'classic' line up of the fourth album finally broke through. Several singers, keyboard players, bassists and drummers later, guitarist Mick Box is the sole original menber. But hey,

Lol, who knows what Keith meant by it. Perhaps the 'someone else's pie' part? But nah... or he was only joking at the time.

As far as 'Coming Down Again' is concerned, didnt Keith say in some interview or so, that, due to the subject of the lyrics, there's no chance he would ever perform it live? I forget if he said that in the 70s or more recently.

Hello all, Just played the first two songs of the Havana Moon dvd. Two things: the sound level is incredibly low, especially for a dvd (ok you can turn up your stereo so not a real problem, just a bit odd), and the subtitles (I chose English) aren't there. Has this occurred to any of you also? I can't wait to play the rest of the concert, good thing I haven't planned any
