Happy New Year! Celebrated tonight by ordering a new needle and belt for my turntable. Need those to play my new EXILE reissue - just got it today. I hope the Stones resolve to make an album that makes us think it's BETTER THAN 1972 . Not that I remember 72, I was two. Bowie has done it- I know the Stones can.

I think they will go on until they can't. So grateful I saw them this summer- twice. First time. I thought they would be awful, I had to be convinced to go....really to pay for my kid's ticket. My teenager dragged me to a show...so there's that. And since I believe in God and Heaven and all that- I amend my comment to say, they will never stop.

Ronnie is amazing. His artistic abilities are multi-faceted (music/painting) and he seems to have finally gotten his priorities straight in his personal life. Not everyone is Mick or Keith or Charlie, some are Ronnie. And in the case of the Stones- he has redefined the idea of a supporting role, to become the heart and no body works without it's central pump. No Ronnie, no Stones.
