They only sold about 30% of seats in my city so far. There's even still cheap seats in the uppers. Last time they did 2 sold out shows. Methinks prices will come down. Nobody's paying $230+fees for rear arena seats, or $180+fees for prime uppers.

Maybe a tour with CH, then a tour with POTR, then CSNY just to round it out.

If vocalist Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) is in the band, then I predict Beck will trot out a few Yardbirds and JBG-era tunes like 'Morning Dew'; as he did at the Hollywood Bowl in 2016.

I was looking at presales today and noticed seats and sections changing price as I browsed along. I saw a section of seats for $99, then when I went back a minute or 2 later, it changed to $179. Don't think I hallucinated it - I've heard ticket prices change in real time according to perceived demand. I've also seen different prices for multiple nights in the same city.Eg. Some

If you made minimum wage in the US in 1969, it was $1.30 an hour. Now its roughly $10 - $11 an hour. In '69 you had to work about 6.5 hours to afford a top tier ticket. ($8.50) Now, Lucky Dips aside, it would be at least 10 hours of wages to afford even a nosebleed, never mind Gold Pits and the like. It's never been just about the workingman, and many/most of them probably don&

Talk about a bassline! This is definitely one of Bill's all time standout tracks imo. He keeps it moving and uses the upper register with great taste and slinkiness. Here's the 'live' tablature on songsterr, for you bass players who haven't already had the pleasure.

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteCristiano Radtke Quotecrholmstrom watching the movie. its nonsense but the music is very good, especially the monumental "cowgirl in the sand" jam. Agree with your points, and I'll add that "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground" is a priceless scene on the movie. agreed. eerie how much lukas sounds like his dad. the solo pocahontas was excellent

There are over 6000 RS shirts on ebay right now. The priciest is $6000 usd. Thanks to scanning and new printing technology, many vintage designs are now being unofficially reprinted. Some are being sold at high prices as 'original'. Buyer beware.

Read the fine print: "Please note that guests attending may be required to pass a background check". Wow, how rock & roll. Guess they don't meet with any old riffraff. Why would they want to hang with a bunch of criminals? Jeez....maybe its due to Mick's royalty status, or something. "Their time may be limited to 15 - 90 seconds with each group". Tha

Apparently, Mick and Charlie called Bill on the eve of rehearsals for the Voodoo Lounge tour, to attempt one last time to get him to rejoin. Sounds like they were getting cold feet about having another bass player. The Stones are a unique musical dynamic in rock. Everything centers around Keith. Charlie follows Keith, but is also there for Mick. Bill, by his own admission, played slightly ahe

I can't understand why people would go to a concert to watch a screen, no matter how far away they were (Rio '06 excepted). The energy comes from the stage, not the screen.

Neil announced for Festval Ete Quebec in July. POTR is also on the bill, but it doesn't say whether they're backing Neil or not. I would say likely. "Young’s appearance is being billed as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member’s only Canadian performance in 2018." That's not promising (but is it real?).

Surprised Elton even let folks get that close. Some artists even stay back from the crowd, mostly. McCartney plays with an extra gap between the rail and the stage, conveniently having the mini rising front stage as a buffer when he's not on it. Although he does hand-pick audience members to come up at a certain point. I saw Ringo in a small theatre with no barrier at the stage, so I w

Yes Neil & co killed it at DT wknd 2. I also was in the pit that weekend. After seeing him with POTR in Seattle and Vancouver the year before, it was great to see what a couple of tours did for the band. After Neil's 2 hour set, I stated leaving, then reminded myself Paul McCartney was coming on next for 3 hours...woah. Seeing Paul & Neil sing & play together was a rock n roll
