Quotehockenheim95 QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotehockenheim95 QuoteDandelionPowderman As you know, we got two shows on the From The Vault-release. One on the album, and another one on the DVD. The japanese deluxe edition got both shows on CDs. And for the July 13 show you can even choose between a Bob Clearmountain and a Sam Wheat mix. Honestly here I prefer the Sam Wheat mix. That's a

QuoteRocky Dijon The world is complex. Masks and the lockdowns did limit the spread of infection. The lockdowns also hurt the global economy. Of course, a full-blown plague would also hurt the global economy. The vaccines saved lives. The vaccines also had side effects for some and maybe everyone eventually. Life is choices. When you have two outcomes with negative results, you try your best to c

QuoteNikkei I am a little tired of documentaries. We had all the good ones. "Tip of the Tongue" had everyone say a few things and I felt like I got to know Darryl well enough when he quoted Keith "I wrote it but do I know it?" I suppose an interview would be better than a documentary, same as with Chuck or the backing singers. Same, I always feel like no documentary can be 1

QuoteTaylor1 This band was better in 1975 and 1989 The band was different in 1975, 1978 and 1989. Which tour was better than another is just a matter of taste and personal preference. There's no objective way to measure it. I personally like each of those tours, I couldn't chose one. But 1978 and especially this release is one of my favourite's. It's the last time IMHO the

QuoteTaylor1 QuoteBig Al QuoteSpud I think we must accept that sometimes the quality expected of a commercial release just isn't there in the surviving original sources. On balance, I think I'd usually prefer to see and/or hear what we have than to get something that's been digitally mucked about with under the guise of "restoration". " It's just that I

Quotehockenheim95 QuoteTopi Now I knew Munich wasn't a sellout, but 16,000 unsold seats is a surprisingly high figure. It didn't look that empty. Eventim knows how to make a stadium look like a sellout. When they start to realize that they won't sell all tickets they start to take every second row out of sale. Then they give tickets away for radio competitions or even to comp

The money Elmo hasn't spent on seeing one Stones show's maybe been spent on seeing local and touring acts that actually need the money. Maybe more depending on the year. (After 60 years on the road - doesn't that happen by definition?) BUT - people still keep going and they seem to have a damn good time. I know I did. Besides, a big part of going on tour is the social side

It was a fire at some archive from Universal Music if I remember right. But I don't think it was ever really confirmed which tapes from which artists got burned. The Stones seem to store most of their tapes in their own storage rooms as can be seen in the "my life as a rolling stone" documentary series, so I don't think they were affected
