No fans are at the rehearsal entrance taking photos to post here? Anita once told me that in the 1960's fans would always be waiting to pull her hair.

Mick is against Brexit because he cares about the refugees and immigrants who will suffer because of it. It's a Brexit character in the song who is shouting "Beat 'em with a stick".

Some analysts here are taking Mick's solo single a bit too seriously. He wrote it, sings it, plays harmonica and guitar. It's a project he undertook impulsively on a whim using minimal resources mainly in his house. A lightweight summery thing, except for the rather dramatic lyrical content: "It's a deja vu I seen it all before, different season, same score...Everybody want

What makes you think Keith has heard these songs? They are Mick's. He released them now on a solo single because political circumstances will have changed by the time the Stones album is finished.

Here's part of an interview Mick gave the New York Times in 1993: "I would never want to go out on tour with the Rolling Stones without a new album. I know the large crowds want to hear the old songs -- Satisfaction, Tumbling Dice, Start Me Up, whatever...But I don't want to be too backward looking. I don't want to be ossified. I like new songs. It's for my own persona

The purpose of Mick's single is to drum up publicity for the tour, to have something new for radio play and dance clubs. It was easy to do. He is not "going solo", especially before a Stones tour.

Mick's single consists of two songs with clever political content as well as a plea to a love interest, as far as I know. The songs won't be on next year's Stones album because they are too current.

It is said that Brian didn't like the pop songs, yet he did contribute to the Rice Krispies jingle the Stones wrote. Rice Krispies literally has "pop" in its slogan. "Snap crackle pop". Do you hear a hint of blues in their jingle?

I heard that Brian was not a good songwriter but he did write a song called "Has Anybody Seen My Baby". Funny that Mick wrote a song with a similar title.

The lyrics are current in a political way. The song might be outdated by the time the next album is released so he put it out now as a small solo project.

Someone said that Stash Kosslowski, a Stones friend from the sixties, was asked who he thought the mystery man with Anita in Hyde Park was. Stash said it looked like jeweler Dave Court, but Stash is wrong. Dave Courts does not look like that man. Dave is a jeweler who met Keith and Anita in 1968. He was invited to Keith's birthday party in 1978 where he surprised Keith with the skull ring he

Jake Weber was eight when his parents took him to visit Keith and Anita in France. He remembers that his father smuggled cocaine in his shirt as a wedding present for Mick, who gave Jake rides on his motorbike. Jake is now an actor, was in Medium with Patricia Arquette. Also in American Gothic. Lives in Hollywood, named his young son Waylon.

I was told Amanda Jones was based on Amanda Lear. She was a model who was represented by the Catherine Harle agency in Paris, along with Anita, Veruschka, and Nico. Catherine was Anita's mentor and Marlon's godmother. Keith said Catherine was well connected and she sent him to a great doctor who cured an early case of hepatitis. Amanda Lear was artist Salvador Dali's muse for 15 ye

Marlon's daughter Ella turned 21 on May 29, 2017. Keith was at Redlands to celebrate, and then he was at British Grove studios for two weeks with the Stones, Don Was, Chuck, etc. Ten years ago Anita told reporters she had hepatitis C. She also had trouble with her hip, she might have had a hip replacement a few years back. Recently she was at several family gatherings at Redlands, including

Anita was an accomplished actress. She gave up the job to be with Keith. She's well educated and she always designed fashions. I think it was her father who insisted she learn secretarial skills just in case. Today she will probably join the rest of the family who are already at Redlands for the celebration of Ella Richards' 21st birthday. Ella is Marlon's daughter.

Maybe Anita's referring to Jane Fonda's mother's suicide and her divorce from Tom Hayden. Anita read Jane's autobiography. I've met Anita several times. I wish I had asked her how well she knew Jane. I did ask Anita about "Degree of Murder", my favorite of Anita's movies. Brian Jones did the soundtrack.
