Sorry folks, I should have added (since this is a B's vs. S's thread) that the Stones are still the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world. There is no question in my mind. Have been since 1970. Here goes ... The Beatles were (at the time) better than the Stones. That said .. 1. Exile - most exciting, clearly 2. White Album - deepest and greatest variety 3. Pulse - beautifully recorded 4. That's cool. Couple of years ago we did Vegas with the Beatles (Cirque) then Stones at MGM the next night. Our seats and the sound was terrific for both.To my mind it was going to be pretty hard to top. ... and then came the Stones 2013 / Toronto ... whew. Have a blast !
