I always thought mick was the insurance because Keith was in such wobbly shape and as he became more reliable, there was less need for the insurance ( plus all the minor irritations note) but you can imagine all sorts of things -no one outside the band will ever know for sure.

I do wonder if the format may have to change - the band ( particularly Mick ) seemed jolly tierd at the end of this one even though good breaks, travel distances were not too long and everyone on top form and no apparent emotional tension . I wonder if Mick will need more rest - longer gaps ? Shorter tours? guest artists ? Shorter set ? A few more slower Blues numbers.

Home after 4 mile walk to Kew Gardens where picked up the last train but had a great time nonetheless . The popular vote for best show so far for U.K. tour seems to be Cardiff. Not sure about Ronnie more extravagant style of solo but perhaps personal taste

Oh for goodness sake chaps, this is a live band of old men playing what they can still play ( arthitis, sciatica , memory etc ) the audience ( old and young ) is loving it everyone is having a ball. Ps But it is always fun following the complaints too
