He took their demos (recorded at IBC) to Paris and the DS got a couple of gigs that way. It seems the first sessions (just Mick & Keith) were in June 2004 - probably at Mick's as there were rumors around that time that the Stones were recording in Paris. I believe that Ron recorded his parts from his own studios in Ireland and London - as he mentionned that his studio was compatible with Mick's in an interview (i.e. he is using Pro Tools & Digidelivery).

They haven't got tens of tracks to mix on ABB - a few guitar tracks, the usual drum tracks, a few vox tracks, the bass track. Sometimes a piano or a harp...
