at the rate of the complaining in here, a place presumably made up of the most hardcore fans, its a minor miracle the band even decides to play. if you want 1972 there are the full year's worth of bootlegs out there. I for one am thrilled they are still doing it and giving everyone who comes out to see them a hell of a night and for many, a thrill of a lifetime.

+1 on the Ronnie comments, he was fantastic and his work on rambler absolutely smoked. The smiles coming from the stage. They were having just as good of a time as we were. Going alone on a pilgrimage to Pittsburgh and being 3 rows from Keith. My dad is a Beatles guy and though he drums some Stones songs with his band, was never a big fan and only expected a decent night of entertainment

Maybe I'm a sound luddite but I blare the S$%& out of it in the car and I'm too busy rocking out to bemoan the fact that its not lossless.

Unfortunately Jacques is really enjoying Miss You. Back to Oliver. I understand that Miss You 'has to' be played, I just wish it wasn't placed right after the euphoria of Rambler.

This Ronnie solo though. My favorite non-Keef moment of the tour. Every night.

A few thoughts: I'm enjoying the extended versions of songs, in my head it's because they don't want it to end. Christiano, good luck providing both the French and English translations of Mick's banter. And Wild Horses sounds lovely.

Great post, VL13. I go to be in the same room as Keith for 2 hours and will continue to do so as long as I can make it work logistically and financially. I also go for the surprises, they aren't often rare songs (though I did get Worried About You in Toronto '13), but moments within the 'warhorses'. For me, the highlight of this tour was the fun they were all clearly having on

Quoterelms So I guess this is all coming to an end, again, but it has been so fun. I looked back and it was March 15th when the billboards went up teasing that the following Tuesday, or was it Thursday that shows would be announced. Like the alien ships parked around cities in that movie, the billboards teased something, but nothing would be solid until it was solid... and then that delay.. a

Quotebuffalo7478 If there is a recording of Buffalo, grab it. Killer versions of CYHMK and Wild Horses. LSTNT was perfect. There will be a recording floating about as 97 rock replayed the whole show last night. Just need the right person to obtain it!

QuoteBrstonesfan Quotestonesfrkk Naw I think 20 thou it will be wide open everybody will be able to pick and choose I think they will get more than 20k as most shows have been between 40-48k. Although Buffalo is a weak Stones market, being the last NA show and the fear it mat always be the last, will bring in around 40k which is better than the 30k in 1997. Still banging the drum on the weak ma

QuoteMingSubu The poster artwork, how is it related to Buffalo? Buffalo is home of some Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, which feature stained glass in the style of the poster. One of the properties, the Darwin Martin House, was visited today by a certain singer and drummer.

No lucky dips. Something about them being illegal in NY or Erie County. A guess, but possibly because the state or county doesn't get the same tax on a full retail ticket vs a lucky dip ticket.

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl No, looking for an unobstructed seat, dammit! When I saw the Buffalo location in comparison to Columbus, I decided to be pro-active and try to move before the rush, since I was roundly criticized for not doing that during the damn concert in Columbus. But since all the floors were unavailable, the best we could do was move down one section, hoping that the wider angle would m

Great list John. I'd only add that Bernard is doing an album signing at the Ellicottville Depot Friday from 6-8p. About a half hour sw of the city. Great place to eat and drink with a stones vibe.
