Not sure where to put this since the original 10/17 thread was closed, but lots of tickets for the Sunday show have “magically” appeared for sale on TM.

Quotekv2915 Is that an open stadium or is there a roof? I can’t tell from this pic. Not really a roof since it’s open on the sides. More like a canopy. Seats block the breeze inside for the most part. I was at Rams game a couple weeks ago and we wound up walking on concourse for awhile to catch the breeze and cool off a bit. Also keep in mind field is 100’ below street level.

Quotebitusa2012 QuoteHairball It was 40 years ago today that I was in between my first and second Stones concerts which took place at the L.A. Coliseum Oct. 9 and 11, 1981. And now 40 years later, can't help but reminisce a bit. There's been many shows in between - from here to Stockholm - in clubs, theaters, arenas and stadiums in many different cities and countries around the world

QuoteHairball Face value standard Pit A & B tix avialable again for the 14th at $499+ fees, along with a slew of great face value floor seats in every section (including rear GA), and almost every other section throughout the entire stadium. Less than two weeks until show time, and looks like it's less than half sold out...time for the Stones to start doing some major promo for this one

Quotebv I have spent hours every day trying to find out where to stay in LA. So boring work. It's 13 days give or take. Two weeks at an airport hotel is cheap but so so boring. Santa Monica is double price. I will probably fly out just after show #2 but there are still 8 days or so in LA, have to sort this out in 1-2 days. What's the nicest place nearby LAX say half an hour max by car?

I'm almost thinking of doing this - just 54 stops along the way. It actually takes you to Prairie & Kelso, which is pretty much on SoFi's doorstep. I'm considering this too, but it seems to run on Sundays at 11:04pm,

QuoteStonesfan2146 I just did check on Google maps and the 117 actually works perfectly as we are only 3 blocks away from Century Blvd., thanks so much! Regarding the homeless people and it being a little more dirty, don't worry, we have places in Hamburg that fit in that category pretty well too. QuoteStonesfan2146 Thank you Hairball, and Dean once again. I think that sounds like downtown would just be way too long of a ride for what we'd get. Biking along the beaches and Abbot Kinney Boulevard will probably also be the perfect replacement for going downtown for my girlfriend. Santa Monica definitely seems to deserve at least a stop, if we end up starting in Venice, a nice day

I have 2 tickets for the 17th I no longer need (I’ll be using LD’s with someone else now) that I’m trying to get rid of (for cost). QuoteJavadave I’m flying in on the 14th, early in the afternoon, checking into a hotel by LAX, and flying out late morning on the 15th. What’s the best way to get to and from the stadium? Is there a light rail option? For football, shuttles are running from C/Green Line Hawthorne/Lennox stop to Sofi Stadium. So, if you were staying by LAX in El Segundo, you’d have the option of taking that 2-

QuoteHairball Seems to be selling much slower than St. Louis... I recall these same conversations for the Dodger Stadium show on ABB tour, particularly after the postponement to Thanksgiving Eve 2006. Sales were slow then too. By the time Stones and their promoters worked their magic—markdowns, 4 packs, free tickets, offloads to secondary resellers—the place was full. That worked out well, as w

On the other hand – if you look at all those over-priced re-sale tickets at ticketmaster for the other show LA and realize that those bast**ds will loose a lot of money you really have to cheer up My guess is many of the resales are being driven by Rams/Chargers season ticket holders who thought they’d buy tickets in presales and flip them. LA Metro has announced additional information on taking public transit to Sofi Stadium: Although this is targeted to Rams/Chargers games, I would assume it will also be applicable for the Stones concert. There are several hotels in El Segundo and South Bay directly accessible within walking distance to the C Line stops. Could be an alternative to staying at an LAX hotel.
