My favorite boot is Welcome to New York '72. Crappy sound but iconic cover and unbelievable version of Bye Bye Johnny.

I've been re-listening to it after reading the Mick Jagger's 75th Anniversary Special from Rolling Stone magazine and I forgot how much I loved that song (and that whole album actually).

The Stones have always said that they modeled themselves after bluesmen who played on stage until they couldn't. From what I've seen in Paris a couple of days ago, not only CAN they play very well still, but they also WANT to do, judging from the smiles on their face throughout the evening. They weren't faking it. Touring 8-10 weeks per year, with 2-3 dates per week, that's

I arrived at the venue at 7:45, it only took us about 10-15 minutes to get into the "red" zone. Our experience was pretty smooth, it seems like ours was an exception though!

Ronnie and Keith were both playing great last night. Keith played much better that I've seen play in years. It doesn't mean he's the same guy who delivered insane solos back in the 1970's, but he's really upped his game last night, probably better than some of the best concerts of the ABB tour. As for Ronnie, he was truly great, playing really fast, really loud and real

I'm so happy I flew from NYC for a quick 24-hour trip for this concert. What a blast! The Stones sounded amazing and looked like they were having so much fun! I was thinking to myself: why would they ever stop, they're enjoying themselves too much, this is what they love to do. Some fantastic versions of HTW, JJF, a very cool Dancing with Mr. D, a beautiful rendition of Slipping Away.

QuoteLongBeachArena72 Quotemtaylor QuoteLongBeachArena72 I think 2018 UK was one of their best tours, to be honest. And perhaps one of their last. Kind of ragged at first, but that's to be expected. Eventually, the band really "locked in" and delivered a knockout blow that last night at the O2. The best concert from 2018 was definitely Knebworth - they played 2.5 hours and Bill a

Does anyone know if an East coast U.S. tour is in the cards for 2018? I'm flying to Paris to see the Stones on Oct. 22 but I'd love to take my kids to see them closer to home in New York City! Thanks!

Listening to Fool to Cry on Father's Day 2017 :-) Did Jagger ever write/comment on what his inspiration was for this track? I'd be interested to know.

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but are there any indications that the Stones would tour on the U.S. East coast after the end of the No Filter tour? The last concert is on October 22, which would technically allow for a few dates in New York before the end of the year.

I went there on Thursday and had a blast. Loved the diaries and the song mixing thing (Listening to Mick's voice all by itself was amazing). Really well done. I just wished I had had more time to explore as I had to speed through it before it closed. Maybe I'll go to Chicago this summer to see it again.
