its so funny you say that Gooo, I live in Trumbull, CT, only about 10 miles away from Keith's house. I've seen the Stones 130 Times in 3 countries in 33 years and 2 of the best shows I've ever seen were those 2 nights in Hartford in '99. It's ironic that I've seen them as far away as Athens Greece and the best shows I saw were right Down the Road Apiece. I seem to

I just saw him a few months ago at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT and he was great. His set included Gimme Shelter and Jumping Jack Flash!!! RIP to one of the greats and one thing is for sure, Johnny LOVED THE STONES!!! I wondered if he ever played with the Stones or if any of the Stones sat in with him. Anyone know???

I heard a stand up comedian once say that "Mick Jagger is Barney Fife's Love Child". Let's face it, putting on a buzz with Keith and the Mayberry boys down at the pond at the beginning of the show is my idea of Heaven!!!

You weren't there cuzzy and if you like women, and you were there, like I was 20 + years ago, you would've done the same thing if you have a pulse and a little bit of a rap. She still looked fine back then and was quite friendly. I also suppose, you don't think I should've put a buzz on with MT when afforded the chance back in 94. Don't be a hater.

I have been ridiculously lucky, I've met Keith three times in CT (we live close to each other), he was cool as hell, autographed a limited edition Crossfire Hurricane book by Bob Gruen for me but my favorite Stones encounters were with Mick Taylor. My buddy Charlie and I were the last three people in Toads Place around 5 in the morning back on Friday, 7/1/94. We did the same thing the foll

First and foremost, MT is by far, the best guitarist they've ever had!! if you've been paying attention since 12/02, he HAS lost a lot of weight, they are a MUCH better band with 3 guitarists on stage instead of two, they have absolutely wasted a wonderful opportunity to build off RAMBLER and play songs with him like Heartbreaker, Street Fighting Man, Sympathy, All Down the Line, Love

I'm sure she's cool in person but musically she's fairly frightening. I loved the Whiskey's the Rage but R&R Circus was a Lonnng Time ago. Either way, good luck to Marianne, I hope it does well.

MT Loves Woodie, I know this for a fact. I saw MT and Woodie do a blues show in NYC and it was fantasic. I still cannot fathom why the Stoners decided to diminish MT's role, instead of steadily increasing it but I assure you Woodie/MT are close.

Are we in the States going to get another crack at seeing the Stones later this winter (Georgia, the Carolinas, Texas, Florida, Hawaii) and will they play MSG in 2014-2015?

Knowing the boys as I do, they will probably release the rare MT rehearsal stuff in 2020 in yet another way to cash in!!! Still love 'em though and yes, I'll be the first one to buy it...

I rather feel that people will say something like "Taylor makes a good song better". No slight on Woodie but in all fairness, Woodie wasn't there when they made this song. Similarly, it would'nt be fair to Woodie to have MT play on Miss You, Imagination, Start Me Up, Some Girls, etc.

Mercifully, they have at least worked Emotional Rescue out of the setlist. I feel the same way about Street Fighting Man and Mick Taylor as I do about All down the Line. I mean if it was Ya-Ya's, Sticky Fingers, Exile, Goats Head and IORR why not utilize MT??

How can the Stones play an exile classic like All Down the Line, have Mick Taylor waiting in the wings and NOT bring him out for the tune. I'm just freaking dumbfounded trying to understand Mick/Keith's rationale??? Somebody has to bring this to their attention. By the way, have we decided to stop playing Sway and Can't You Hear me knocking???
