Quoteslewan whale watching (Vancouver) I currently live in Bellingham (30 miles south of the border).. Have taken visitors on whale watching excursions out of here a couple times.. Great activity for kids and adults. Same waters.. same whales, less money than Vancouver with the exchange rate and a guarantee to see whales, great experience! So many things depending on interests.. Off the top of my head.. Portland- Saturday Market (great shopping, music, and eats) A great Waterfront Blues Festival in August.. kid friendly. Oregon Zoo is good, that also has summer concerts, which includes zoo admission. Seattle Pike Place Market.. again, lots of great shopping, music, eats. Woodland Park Zoo.. again, summer concerts and fa

QuoteGasLightStreet Heard an interesting point of view about why Brady is the best compared to Montana - Montana had the same players, Brady has had so many different players. Big difference. I would have to give the GOAT nod to Brady, but not as solidly as his teams success might suggest. As much as I dislike him, Belichick, I think, deserves more credit than Brady for their dynasty. Where

Quote35love That’s an interesting thought, one that I won’t repeat to any men that live here, lol. I saw a glimpse of Joe M @ the Chiefs game. Good football yesterday, here is a ‘girl’ question: just how cold does it have to be to call a game? Frozen thru cold brrr skin mottled white can’t move your face You must be tough tough tough tough tough tough tough! Cheers. Don't know if t

Good scoop on the Pasadena opener, Liepger. Haven't heard of them (not surprisingly), a Canadian rock band that sounds pretty good after a quick google search. With this being the LA area opener, safe to say that we won't see any big name acts as openers on the tour. Not that they've done that in a while, but with ticket sales appearing to be going very well, the openers wil

Quotedoitywoik QuoteMisterDDDD ... finishing touches on some songs or perhaps the album ... "Finishing touches" is such an ugly term! LOL Like almost finished, but still not really finished ... Still it would be great to get at least a single (if not an EP or the whole album altogether)! It's more fun to be optimistic so let me be optimistic! Trying to figure out what'

Can't play the video, but good news on the recording front. Would seem almost likely at this point that they will be putting finishing touches on some songs or perhaps the album Still have a feeling they're going to drop a new album or at least an EP before this tour.. Hopefully similar to B&L, where they'll play a song or two from it.

What two great championship games !! Going to be in Vegas before the Super Bowl, gotta think the pats will be favorites. If so, gotta bet against them, but may be faster just to throw my money away..

QuoteDGA35 Wow, exciting game, not a fan of either team but good to see underdog visiting team win. I'm sure all that will be talked about was the missed call which would have pretty much given the Saints the victory. True, but also true is they should have found a way to put the game away when they were up 13-0. They didn't and they lost.

QuoteCristiano Radtke Quotetreaclefingers You have true talent Josepi, because you've made it look like Keith. Honestly, I don't think most people could have seen Keith in that stone before your crafting. What treacle said! Well done, josepi! Agree... very cool folk art. I'm going with George Harrison as the mystery rock.

QuoteGasLightStreet Davis was informed that the Stones would not perform at the Fair Grounds without their full stadium production of staging and sound and light equipment. What a load of CRAP! The Stones had no problem playing under a tent, basically, for Glastonbury and Hyde Park. They didn't bring their "full stadium production" for those. Not from what I've seen, anyway

This will be a great weekend for those going, no doubt. Especially those who've not experienced the festival or the city before. As much fun as this one will be, without the spendy Grand Marshall or Big Chief passes, this I think will definitely have it's challenges when it comes to getting a good spot. I realize they close all the other stages early and then have just the one, but

Quotejlowe QuoteChrisMahavishnu On the ticketmaster page for Madison Square Garden it has a warning "THIS PERFORMANCE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF IT CONFLICTS WITH A PLAYOFF GAME", is this a common notice, and is there much risk of this occurring? This would never happen in the UK. Is sport more important than rock n roll?! Blimey. More about prior commitments than what's more imp

Interesting comment I thought from the official announcing the line-up.. " as of 30 seconds ago, the RS "tour is sold out"(??) and Jazz Fest will be the only place to buy a RS ticket". Obviously not true, but he seemed to believe so.. the "as of 30 seconds ago" made it seem like he may have just been given some info.

Enjoyed them very much at Desert Trip. Hadn't seen them live since their farewell tour in the eighties. Pete cut his hand (requiring stitches then) and was bleeding profusely at both shows.. Good times Having said that, I wouldn't walk across the street to see them again if it was free.
