QuoteVoodooLounge13 Pearl Jam is doing a 9-show tour...... If a 14-show tour is a mini-tour, what - pray tell - is a 9-show tour called??? I just assumed they would announce more dates. If it is a 9 date tour, it sounds like an escape from the studio tour. It’s been 10 years since I caught them last, I’m due a PJ gig. It’s also 30 years since I saw the first one, so it’d be nice to mark the

Some may feel entitled to a statement, but no, “The Fans” already know what’s happening through places like this. It’s only when the tours are over we’ll know how lucky we have been. We are owed nothing.

QuoteDGA35 Hopefully I'll get to see them one last time. They've had decent opening acts when I've seen them in the past: 1988 w/Dokken 1990 w/Skid Row 1994 - can't remember who opened 2006 w/ Motley Crue 2010 w/Joan Jett All in Vancouver. I believe it was the 2010 show that Tom Hamilton wasn't playing because he was either sick or injured. They had Chris Corn

Quoterockerparis "Dust" 1996 and the last one "Last Words: The Final" are even better DUST is a master piece. Dust is indeed a great record, it came a bit late though and the focus that had been on the Grunge movement had switched to Britpop. I remember seeing Mark on Jools Holland while they were promoting that record and just thinking he’s next. When I read his book and h

QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteRollingFreak Quotemasseywinos Having seen Ozzy on the "Rock Star" tv ad recently I'm worried about his ability to pull it off. Sadly looks quite decrepit. Zak Wylde will do most of the work. I didn’t check the dates but can he be in Ozzy’s band with Pantera on tour?? Looks like Pantera have a gig the same night…

Tickets available now at PowerTrip.live This was posted on AcDcs Facebook page… “just this once” …… I wonder does that mean it is just a one off with no other dates around it? Is this how it’s to be for AcDc now with Brian’s hearing, just one off dates every now and then and no more tours? that might be in reference to the festiv

Now, without trying to disrespect the guru, I don't think he's got it quite right there. They never took off? He projects yet doesn't need to. Zep were and are so much bigger than the Stones. Goddam

Let it Loose, for sure. There’s a passion and emotion in that song he never reached on record again. A Lightening in a bottle type vocal take.

QuoteCaptainCorella Quoteds1984 The Rooftop Concert still sounds as an oddity to my ears. Can you explain that? To my ears it sounds like 4 very experienced players who genuinely enjoy playing live together doing it well and producing some good songs. I've watched it several times and I reckon I see mutual enjoyment and affection in what's going on on that rooftop. I’m not the b

Quotedcba QuoteTheBlockbuster I don't understand how people are still listening to these bands when they are grown adults. Like listening to Portishead, drinking expensive cocktails and pretending I'm sophisticated and hip at 50? No thanks I'll keep Angus or papa Het close to my heart... and my ears.

QuoteDGA35 Quotebabyblue QuoteDGA35 Guns'n'Roses announced a show in Vancouver at BC Place on Oct 16 which is the final show of their 2023 tour. Apart from this Powertrip show, they're also playing San Diego and Sacramento on the west coast so might get a lot of die hard fans from the Pacific North West driving up to Van to see the show. It's also the only show in Western Ca

Thread title should be changed to “Bill Wyman not really trying to to kick Jaggers ass” minus the emoji. Dick move by Mick, there’s a lot of bass players in a lot of other bands that would decked the lead singer for that. Bill had been in the army, Mick wouldn’t have stood a chance!
