Quoteduke richardson Emotional Rescue is underated.. isn't it..? Yes, on this forum, it is underrated. Why, I don't know. In reality, at the time of it's release, with the youth of that time (age 15-30), it was incredibly popular. And it has always been one of my top 7 Stones albums.

I was under the impression Keith was really into watches; had been known in the past to actually wear one on each wrist; and once got himself out of a predicament when he was in a broken down speedboat by paying the boat owner who towed him to shore by giving the owner his gold Rolex. However, it is true he never wears a watch on stage. I do not know why on that one.

I heard about The Rolling Stones at age 12 in 1963, started to get interested at 18 in 1969, and became a full fledged fan at 20 in 1971.

In central Mexico at an elevation of 7000 feet above sea level (2134 meters) it was sunny and 74º F. (23º C) today. Last night it went down to 53º F. (12º C). There are few places in the world that have a perfect climate, but central Mexico is one of them.

The best guitar that you can buy for under US$1000 is supposed to be the Seagull S6 Original, made by Godin Guitars in La Patrie, Quebec, Canada. No need to buy a Chinese guitar. I would suggest that you research the subject. The Seagull S6 Original lists on the manufacturer webpage for $545, but Amazon USA has them for $449. When I bought mine, my research turned up that it was either the

QuoteAquamarine To be honest, if you were at shows back in the 60s and 70s, you probably have no memory of the comparative sound quality. I don’t, anyway, though I remember a bunch of other stuff! I was blessed with a long, accurate, and vivid memory, and remembering the sound quality of shows in the 60s and 70s is very easy for me. Don't assume that everyone is dim.

• In 1984 I played a Stones Live recording, which I got off of WNEW-FM, on cassette, in my car, to a friend, and his comment was, "It's so bad that it's good". • Another friend commented recently, "The Stones have a tinny sound; not that that is bad, it's just tinny". • After playing the video "Rolling Stones Bridges to Babylon 1998", which was

In my experience sound at stadiums sucked then and now. As for all the other venues, it depended on the acoustics of the particular room, ranging from terrible to incredible. Also the position of your seats made a big difference. But generally speaking, no great advancements have been made over time, and the sound follows the general rule I stated above. (in my opinion) Examples: 1. Rolli

Of the 24 Rolling Stones albums I have considered worthy enough to put on my MP3 player, I have only 3 of their live albums, "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out!", "Brussels Affair (Live 1973)", and "Still Life". The reason is that after listening to various and sundry Rolling Stones Live material for a period of more than 48 years, what is available has become extremely r

Three things over a two year period made me into a Stones fan: 1. My first Stones concert: Nov 7, 1969 2. Listening to "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!" and "Sticky Fingers" in 1970 and 1971 3. The influence of Nick, a travel companion, as we hitch-hiked North America from Aug 1971 to Oct 1971

My first Rolling Stones concert also happened to be my first concert of any kind. It was Friday, November 7, 1969. I was an 18 year old freshman at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Stones show was the first scheduled date of the 1969 tour, and was presented at the CSU Moby Auditorium, known as Moby Gym. The ticket cost $7. BB King was the opening act. It

Quotenick1970 Has the emotional rescue album got any redeeming features, or is it merely disappointing?? IN NO WAY WAS THE ALBUM DISAPPOINTING AT THE TIME OF IT'S RELEASE. IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA IT WAS LOVED BY VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE TEEN AND 20 YEAR OLDS THAT I KNEW AT THE TIME. PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIKE THE ALBUM, DO NOT HAVE A CLUE, AND THEIR LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IS VERY LIM

I have a question for an English person: Is Jagger a CBE or a KBE? I always thought he was a CBE but someone whispered KBE... Can't find it on the net... Right...a hip band... and A cornball name. A source close to Jagger, who follows a strict diet and exercise regime, said: “It’s not a mystery
