Quotenahuw Mean we have to be at Northen gate at 11am? 10am? What do you think about? And can we go with our sandwich/cola or have to buy it inside? I don't know, because I'm not there today. I will be there too at the 13th, also Tier 3. I'll dispense with the best place, because I don't want to wait over 8 hours on one single place before the show starts. As far as I

Quotenahuw At what time have we to be at (wich?) door to be sure to be at the best place? (Have tier 3 tickets) Would say latest 12:00pm at the North Entrance. And then run as fast as you can to the Main Stage (The Great Oak Stage) ..... See this map on the BST website (PDF).

Exactly the same show on 13th July? Would say no, because there are at least other support acts. And I hope the Stones are playing a slightly different (maybe even better) setlist.

QuotePhilUK 99.999% of people will be there to see the Stones. Exactly my opinion. Edit: the real timetable is now to find for the 6th July and the 13th July at the BST website

QuotePhilUK Why do you think that's the timetable? The Vaccines are the highest act on the support bill, plus there's a few stages. I think this is wrong. It should be the other way round really. As I wrote: all in all only a guess. I'm a Stones fan and not familiar with the 4 support bands Edit: Posts edited, correct timetable inserted.

Edit: the timetable is now to find for the 6th July and the 13th July at the BST website When the beginning for the admission is 12:00pm, then I could imagine that the 4 main support bands might start about 2:20pm and play max. 1 hour each wi

Quotestonehearted On the dotted line for me as well. But I don't think there's a need for a petition. Because Mick initially wanted to allow the BBC to air only a 4-song snippet (but agreed to 1 hour after further negotiations), you can be certain that a DVD of Glastonbury will be part of a multi-disc 50 & Counting DVD package, very much like Four Flicks and Biggest Bang. I think the rumors make sense. Looks like the expected european Tour in the autumn. 3x Germany and before/thereafter maybe 3x BeNeLux, 3x France, 3x Spain, 3x Eastern Europe, 3x Scandinavia, 3x UK. Timeframe maybe from 11th Oct. to 15th Dec. with announcement in Sept. Makes all in all 21 dates, the same as the current US-Tour + the 3 UK dates ......

No, Nada, Niente, Non, Nein. We can be very happy if they still play Europe, South America, Japan and Australia after the current US-shows and until the end of the next year. Maybe still some more US-dates (middle/southern). After that I think there will be no 'World Tour' anymore in the old style like 1994 - 2007. Mick, Keef & Co. are more or less in their 70's. See BV

Quotebv They will never stop touring. But they will take more breaks, lomnger breaks, and less shows between the breaks. Comes with age. Not rocket science really. They used to do 100+ shows per tour. You can't do that with a bunch of grandchildren and lots of family activities. Also they need to do what any other person age 65++ do - some resting..... Yes - they will never stop to

QuoteNICOS A break for 3 months and then Mick, Keith and Charlie will talk if it's fun to take another tour Europe etc. A break of 3 months could mean that there is either a tour in Europe in the autumn (then mid Oct. to mid Dec.) or a second leg of the tour in the US, but not both. Maybe more US-dates in the next spring and afterward going into the studio to finish the new album .

My guess too - a european leg of the tour 2013 in the autumn (maybe 11th Oct. - 15th Dec.), then in the winter a 'mini-tour' in South America, afterwards a brief visit to Japan & Australia (altogether from mid Jan. to mid March). Further US-dates (Middle/Southern) either from mid Nov. to mid Dec. or in the next spring (depends on the demand). Maybe they will start to work on a new a
