The Dolby 7.1 is awesome. Amazing clarity and almost no compression. I was finally be able to mix the final part of Mick Taylor's lead solo in Winter to the left channel. In all the official versions his guitar solo is suddenly mixed to the center which I find very annoying! Here is a stereo mixdown snippet of Winter with the lead guitar solo completey mixed in the left channel

Maybe VideoJames can give us some insights what was filmed in 1972? Same goes for 1973. We know the BBC filmed one of the Wembley shows.

QuoteMathijs Quotejohn lomax I still can't believe how little footage there is of this tour. There is no video footage of Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane and in fact I have never.even seen photos of the Adelaide or Brisbanw shows (and only a few photos of the Sydney show). There is some pro-shot footage from Sydney in the Crossfire Hurricane movie. Just 20 seconds or so, but it is pro-shot...

Quoteandrews27 Please post every 1975 and 1978 shows in superb soundboard quality. Those years are stating to look like their peak, balancing musicianship and excitement, with 1881-1982 not far below on the downslope. Their peak? Never listened to the 72-73 live shows?

Sound is a bummer. Had high hopes by this Multitrack Soundboard but unfortunately this is a dry soundboard (almost mono) with sound dropouts caused by a bad DAT transfer

QuoteTravelinMan Quotewiredallnight If you want to try another one (the best one): DAC-180: I'll try this one, all the others seem to have the weird volume drop. The alternate version on YouTube doesn't, so I'm puzzled. Do you have a link to this version without the volume drop on Youtube?

Quotewiredallnight Here please: Thank you. Very listenable but not a high quality tape transfer or vinyl rip from Some Girls acetate LP. This 8-track mix is way superior to the LP and 12” mix. The 12” mix is nice but Bob Clearmountain edited out a lot of guitar parts and the sax solo.

I’m looking for a high quality file of Gimme Shelter (Pop Go The Sixties 1969) Does anybody have it? Mick’s vocal performance is awesome! I would like to professionally extract his vocal to create a alternate stereo mix with the multi’s available. The BBC broadcasted it in 2016:

Anybody aware of a soundboard tape from Newcastle 1971? Could this be real? Item description This is a very, very extraordinary item: a vintage tape from The Rolling Stones, 'Live in Newcastle City Hall'. According to the original box, this concert has been recorded on the 4th of March 1972, but of course 1971 is meant: this was the very first show from the Farewell Tour o

Quotetoomuchforme Sorry folks but your work consists in cutting all the sound. The official has everything (piano very clear on GIMME SHELTER) with everyone everything and deep sound with bass, drums. your version is thin and lacks many things of the musical message. No one but the Stones can provide the good sound from the original masters. If the Stones released this album in the 70'

Hi Edwin, do you mean you've converted to 16 bit?.....if that's right, is there any chance you could upload it here........I've tried every which way and only get 2 seconds of stattic........... There are a dozen of tools which can convert 24 bit to 16/44.1 redbook format.
