So far these are some of the best setlists I've ever seen them do. Fantastic balance and pace to the selections. Pure magic.

QuoteMadMax Those three are my most listened to as well Mr WAY Although Exile is my 2nd favourite album after ER, then BB and B & B. It probably got summat to do with the production, those 3 are very "listenable". I think you're right, the production is definitely what edges me to ER over Girls, it's just a better listening experience, same with Black and Blue.

QuoteWitness To me EMOTIONAL RESCUE is even better than SOME GIRLS, both among their approximately twelve great albums, preferably otherwise without internal ranking. It is the songs outside the very best though that make EMOTIONAL RESCUE even better than SOME GIRLS, whereas I abstain from ranking between those two albums' very best three songs. There, however, "Down in the Hole&q

QuoteRocktiludrop No offence, and don't get me wrong cause i love Rod, but he's full of c#*p. He says he's getting the faces back again from time to time, I'll believe it when i see it. Exactly this and as others have said, it's just too late now without Mac and Plonk, Rod's voice the way it is, just too much against them sounding good again.

Steve Jordan should be knighted next. What an absolute legend pulling this off the way he has. And he looks cool as hell!

QuoteKRiffhard What a brilliant performance! And at 3:06 a biblical "GET DOWN"!!! My word this is magnificent. As good as they ever sounded and better than they've sounded sinceā€¦Stripped? They just sound so tight, slashy, taught and punchy. What an absolute masterclass in rock n' roll.

Quoteangee I mean, Beast of Burden??!! Hope they do it again...and again...and more. One of the most elevated performances of Beast that I've ever heard. Languid, emotional, sublime. The entire band completely locked in. Magic.

Another absolute blinder of a show. The setlist for Thursday ever so slightly edges it for me, but last night will go down as another classic Stones show. Ridiculous how great they sound.

Worried and Fool are easily my favourite Stones ballads. Both just utterly sublime. At the death I'd go for Worried but either would be amazing.

QuoteTopi QuoteWorriedAboutYou Watching the Youtube clips - this is a PHENOMENAL show. Setlist, performances, sound, one of those nights where everything clicked. Truly special. And to think so many people were ready to write them off. Glad they are proving the doubters wrong. (And I'm the first to admit I had my share of doubts!) I did too. But straight out of the gate this show flo

QuoteDandelionPowderman Out of curiosity, what made Keith 'tragic'? He looks completely lost and out of it. Hardly able to play the guitar, very nervous, tentative and almost paralysed at some points. The guitar is a real struggle for him now. I felt sorry for him.

Watching the clips, they are objectively awful, the entire band are completely lost and phoning it in. KR is an especially tragic figure now. Jagger's voice and mannerisms ridiculous. Wood just a clown. Who even cares about the rest of the "band" up there. What a joke.

People who say things like "Charlie would want them to continue" sound like they don't know Charlie Watts. Obviously Charlie's response would be typically direct: "I haven't really thought about it, I'm just a drummer. I can't believe people still want to come and see us anyway. They should do what they want. I won't be here to care will I?"

You're confusing emotion and feelings with the motivation behind running an enormous corporate business like the Rolling Stones who employs hundreds of people. Do not underestimate Jagger's ability to separate emotion from business. If the remaining members are able to tour and make millions they will do so. Steve Jordan is the new drummer of The Rolling Stones now. They will tour and c

It will sound like what it is - Mick Jagger singing over soulless session musicians with Ronnie covering Keith's mistakes. Leavell/Jordan/Jones as prominent as the actual remaining Stones. If you're cool with that I hope you have a great gig. Glad I saw them when I did and there were more than two actual Stones in the band. Long time ago now.

Wow, some people are acting like their wives have had a one-night stand or something. Perspective - a drummer in a heritage rock band is having a few nights off for health related issues. Throwing around accusations of "treason" is embarrassing.

QuoteRokyfan Quoteroryfaninva Sigh. Actually I would have preferred a principled stand (from Keith anyways) saying we dont go without Charlie. Period. What happened to the "irreducible core"? But at the end of the day its big business. I recall many quotes from Keith that without Charlie it would not be the Stones, that his drumming was essential to their sound. Obviously he had no

Quotebradleycsocal They would never rename the band. Looking forward to seeing Charlie play again soon. At this point they should name it The X-Pensive Barbarians starring Sir Mick Jagger. It would be more honest. Three original members isn't The Rolling Stones. Sad, Sad, Sad.

I watched this on Sky last night - advert breaks after every two songs were brutal and ruined it. Do we know who played on Marianne's song? Great music. Jagger and Lennon were awkward together, Dirty Mac only really notable for Keith on bass. Jagger came across as being cynical and a bit patronising throughout, he really didn't connect. Weak performance and yes I know they wer
