About the Stade de France, in the north of Paris. I used to go there alone for concerts and I lived at the opposite in the south west of Paris... I agree with the messages that said don't stay in the Saint-Denis area. At the end of the show, just follow the crowd back to the RER or the métro. I prefer the métro. So it's very easy and you quickly arrive in some good parts of Paris. You

Festival Air d'islande - Paris, at the end of this month, two evenings. Very good program. In addition to Low Roar that I love all the songs, I'd be happy to discover Mammút and Rökkuro, and happy to see again Soley.

Quotegotdablouse Quotechild-of-the-moon Quotebenoitf I alwxays wondered why Bill & his band rarely (or never?) play in France ? Anyone thoughts about this fact ? Bill told to the backstage guests in Basingstoke in 2011 that it is ain’t easy to find a local promoter in France. He don’t know any French promoter, no connections. Otherwise than for Scandinavia and Holland/Germany where Bill

I understand why you edited this amazing photo without Mick Taylor, but I like the version with him as well because he has the same expression and is watching in the same direction as others. Really great shot, thanks! Bravo!!!

Yes I know, this morning I booked my tickets and it was indeed a good surprise: no brownfield but a new and luxurious kind of museum that opens a few days before the concerts! No photo of the venue (inside) on the website, we just know that there is an auditorium 400-seat flexible, so probably a tiny place. Exciting!

Yes but in Lyon they played in a brownfield (as part of a music festival which goes well with this kind of site... not at all to my taste so I have a little doubt but I don't really worry about Paris. Let's see tomorrow!

Seen them a few months ago: it was a great concert (3D concert, not their "Katalog" like in Paris soon). Can't wait to see them again in Paris. The venue is weirdly secret until saturday, we are waiting for a good surprise In another hand, the Paradiso in Amsterdam is a so lovely place.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotesonomastone The Brian Jones-era Stones were superb and I would say most of the albums from that era are underrated by modern day Stones fans. +1 +1 Between The Buttons and Their Satanic Majesties are underrated (I think. Anyway I love these albums).

Yes I remember very well: 1976, I was sixteen y o, on holidays with friends older than me. One of them had Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass), probably the UK version because I felt in love with Paint It Black very quickly and then all the tracks... After these holidaysI bought all the old albums! (little by little of course)

QuoteBowieStone I stayed til after they bowed and jumped right on the metro. There was no need to sacrifice Satisfaction. Same for me >< Good concert, but I don't know if sometimes it's the sound of the place or the musicians who did some "couacs". My highlights: Wild Horses, Out Of Control, Gimme Shelter and of course Midnight Rambler. Great crowd, I had a V
