Quotevudicus I was just browsing the net, looking for some info on the film "groupie" when I came across this interview with an ex-groupie called Morgana Welch. When I looked at her pics, she bears a striking resembalence to the girl who shoots heroin and shows her Stones necklace to the camera in the @#$%& blues film. The Gimme Shelter film of the Altamont concert shows hundreds of people close to the stage while the Stones were performing. Have any of those people given an interview about their experience that day?

QuoteErik_Snow QuoteTornandfrayed QuoteErik_Snow Vancouver June 3rd 1972, by Gregory Melle / I´m not really a guitar geek but I´ve never seen any other pics of Keith playing a Fender Mustang (Or is this a Jaguar?). Vancouver´72 is such a strange show... BTW thanks for the pics Erik. Hi Torn&Frayed, yes I noticed that as well, quite surprising All the other Vancouver 72 photos

I'm certain Keith is an alcoholic. During the 1st Baton Rouge show in 1975 he almost drank an entire 5th of Jack Daniels. I've never understood how he could drink so much and not have to piss during the shows.

I was very fortunate to see both 1972 Fort Worth shows. Keith played two different Telecaster guitars during those shows. One had a white pick up switch and the other had a black pickup switch. Which one was Micawber?

Not certain if this has already been posted, but it is new to me. Brian Jones is playing a white Telecaster.

I attended the 1st & 2nd shows in Fort Worth, TX. in June 1972. To this day I've never seen any band (including the Stones) perform better.

QuoteJustin Yup the guy's got it...he should've lowered the Ya-Ya's recording much more though....just to isolate the guitar more. I wish I remembered to explain the middle part in my video (when the song breaks in the middle)...all those licks are fun to do. By the time I realized it...I didnt' want to re-do the video because it took soooo long to do! And I was already appr

Quoteskipstone Ha ha...I like how he was quite emphatic about it being in standard tuning... Well, it is played in standard tuning. The capo on the 7th fret is the key.
