Quotemarcovandereijk A lot of fans praise Slave, but despise Suck on the jugular. I can not see the reason. In my humble opinion Suck on the jugular is also an interesting jam, based on Charlies groove. To me, Slave is great, Suck on the Jugular is at best average. Slave just has that groove that Suck doesn't come close to.

QuoteMelBelli So the band was on the Howard Stern Show this morning. Mike and Eddie told a funny story about opening for Keith on NYE 1993, then Howard asked Mike about open-G and taking the low-E string off, etc. McCready explained that Keith learned his tunings from Gram Parsons. He sounded like a huge and deeply-rooted fan. Not sure how he got that history so wrong. Did they play any songs?

Hit or miss! ... Just did a trip to Jacksonville, all was perfect on the way there. Return flight!! It was scheduled for 2:15pm, got there early, noon'ish. The it was delayed to 3:30 ... then 4:30 ... then 5:30 ... then 6:30 ... then 10:30 ... once we got that notice we decided to eat dinner. THEN at 7:30 they gave dinner credit for the airport, after most like us had already ate our foo

Hey godzi, Quotegodzi68 ...Unfortunately, “Tell Me Straight” was a big disappointment for us. Not that it’s bad or heartfelt, but it needed to be a rocker. We already have DOY, DS & SSOH, so we didn’t need a Crosseyed Heart leftover... I felt the same way, and said as much in my first review, day 1 of release. Not that I thought it was bad, just that I was hoping for a rocker such as T

Quotefrankotero I put the booklet in the center panel after scanning it. No need to pull it out again. I suspect if I play the discs often eventually the sleeve will either loosen up or tear apart. Anyhow, I'm in the minority because I don't like jewel cases they get scratched, dull and the metal in the discs separates after several removals from the center holder/lock. Whatever it'

Great tune ... And pretty sure that is Steven Tyler in the vid! I guess Slash has a new album coming out, he's always been a favorite guitar player to me. Don't forget, besides G'n'R, he was part of the great Velvet Revolver band1

QuoteStoneage So, the logic is: If you don't like it you're allowed to state it once, maybe a couple of times, but if you like it there is no such limit? I get it if people tend to be repetitive though... Not even close, but nice try. A couple of times? ... try looking thru the thread. It's HMS all over again. It's a blatant attempt to ruin it for those that enjoy it.

Quotekeefriffhards My only beef with some of you guys is your intolerance of anyone with a different opinion or point of view. ? ... it's not about a different point of view. Just odd that an album you state that you don't like to the point of "I won't ever play it again" but spend so much time talking about it, feeling the need to say it over & over. If it's

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteLeonidP ....."HD is the only album by the Stones that that i have no desire to play again." So you've said, but you sure have the desire to point it out about 1000 times, i think most got the point the first time. Wrong. It took me about 500 times before I absorbed it, but I'm sometimes slow to the mark so I really appreciate his tenacity in point

Quotejp.M QuoteWuudy Quoteslewan QuoteWuudy Quoteslewan sounds much like Lou Reed in his later years. Thus not very original… Well, it is a cover so by definition not original. Same goes for their early work but doesn't mean it is not great to listen to. I ment 'not very original' in the sense that Keith doesn't add or change anything significant. He just does the song lik
