Sad I recall reading in Ian Hunter's book (diary of r'n'r star) about Mick Ralphs fear of flying - so sometimes it limited places where they could play. He supposedly left the band because he didn't want to fly anymore -- I always wondered if he had that same issue w/ Bad Company.

QuoteHalup QuoteLeonidP Charlie played on 4 tracks, from what I recall, before Hack was released ... 2 were included on Hack and it was assumed the other 2 were held over for the next one, i.e. this new one / Hack II. I assume you mean that out of the 23 songs worked on with Andrew Watt in 2022-23, that 4 of them featured Charlie on drums.... Yes, that is what I meant - again, going on memory,

Of course! Funny to read much criticism of him, from what I read, we would never had the previous album if it wasn't for him - and maybe the upcoming one as well.

Quotetrevormcmullin Kesha has been irrelevant for 15 years. Why would anyone want her on Stones record? Was this Kesha ever relevant? LOL, seriously, this is the first time I've ever heard of her.

QuoteProfessorWolf frankly i could do with less celebrity guests ... Agree! Although they do get a pass in the case of Paul McC, he can guest on another song or two ... and no need to state the obvious, Bill W, Mick T would be great but I don't necessarily consider them as guests.

Quoteimthemastah This set includes "Honky Tonk Women" with Mick and Tina Turner, and indicates this is from his show at the Tokyo Dome. But that's not one of the songs she sang on at that show. So...what's the source for track, do you think? I believe it's from a Tokyo Dome bootleg, but with extra bonus tracks that were included on that release (I have it but I'd h

I love(d) this dude! Such great songs, the lyrics are great and he had very qualified musicians ... and most significantly: his singing voice, it has so much character! It's a shame to me, that he went more the poetry route, I would have loved another couple albums of music. But I guess poetry was more his own love, so I am left with the few albums I have. He died way too young! *e

QuoteThe Worst. "There's the big 4 in the 1990s - Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots." I can think of many bigger and/or better (at least more interesting) bands and songwriters from/in the 90s: Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age (1st album), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Black Crowes to name a few. Nah, none of those bands can touch the 4 m
