QuoteRacca1962 As far as I know it is not allowed to give concerts in Bernabeu and Camp Nou. If the Stones will play in Spain it will be the Olympic Stadium Lluis Companys in Barcelona or Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid. I think Taylor swift is/was playing at the Bernabau this year?

Lots of other acts rumoured euro stadium shows next year (Bruce unlikely to come back for just the 4x rescheduled, U2 rumoured June start in Europe, AC/DC, the weeknd, pj and others) be interesting to see how this all lands in May-July (non football season)

Also, bit pricey I’ve picked up a couple of lovely shoe posters from other bands that were limited quantities (the national and pearl jam) for 35 quid each (50 dollars or so)

I have one from Hyde park 2013 frames and on my wall with other posters - looking at this now there was more effort than recent ones it looks, nice tree etc. don’t feel the need for more than one and I didn’t get a show poster on the day

QuoteMartinB Great show today in Wembley. But the sound was really bad, a big ball of wool and cotton. And I was front of stage centre, not far from soundboard...! I was top tier Side of stage - muddy Still enjoyed it tho

QuoteDan QuoteSKILLS I have heard chatter that it is over, this North American Leg is the last one. Contracts do not extend beyond this Contracts are on a by tour basis. Each tour is a brand new business endeavor. And every tour an opportunity to lock in a great fee :-)

Quoteelectricmud Got mail today from Eventim that the gigs at Waldbühne, Berlin ( 2nd and 3rd of July) are cancelled due to full recovery of the band . They refund , no delay, just cancelled. That’s a third of the (very short) European tour cancelled so far - poor no rescheduling with a month between euro and US legs, or opportunity to ‘Bruce’ and schedule for 2025

Anyone who went to Manchester what did you think? Eddie struggling with illness but mcready extended solos doing the heavy lifting elevated it to an 8/10 for me London cancelled yesterday due to illness (I’ve written about the us style pricing experiment for this tour before, but at time of cancellation on Friday, many unsold face value on TM and as low as 2 (two) gbp on stubhub - problemati

QuoteNashvilleBlues Quoteyorkshirestone Yep and I’m paying 160 to see them (for the 8th time) point being I saw the foos for 80 quid last night and seeing green day next week for similar Fair enough, but PJ tickets costing more than Taylor? I hope you mean James Taylor and not Taylor Swift. I got GA grass for PJ in Indiana (8/26) for $81 total. I think that’s reasonable. Comparable to Taylor

Pearl jam had a go at ‘US’ style pricing for euro tour this time. £160 for standing. Not worked out too well with incremental price cuts and thousands of empty seats for London and Manchester, many dumped on resale platforms and knock down prices Something wrong when it costs more to see pearl jam than Bruce, eagles, Taylor, foo fighters, green day

Also good to see a few of us IORR types at pearl jam in Manchester- high hopes for this, last time pj played a new arena in northern England (Leeds 2014) it was legendary - 3.5 hours and 40 min over the curfew with the full house lights on

QuoteRisingStone Got back from Sunderland to the Newcastle hotel. Hot show under a biblical rainfall that lasted for almost the entire show. Was sitting in the stand under the roof, felt sorry for the crowd on the pitch. Voice problems hardly recognized from Bruce who gave a strong vocal performance overall. I enjoyed every minute of it. Show length: 2 hrs 55 mins I was front standing - don’

QuoteNashvilleBlues So, if Mick writes most of it, it’s not a Stones album, but if Keith writes most of it, it is a Stones album? Sounds ridiculous. Now, get back on topic. Most sensible thing I’ve read in this ridiculous thread

Quotekeefriffhards QuoteTestify Quotekeefriffhards We didn't get Tell Me Straight. I'm out of here, it's Mick's show now and good luck to him, Keith has no input, it's not the Stones, i didn't sign up for that, but enjoy for all those who did. Then it wasn't even the Stones in the 70s, when Keith barely sang a song per concert! It's not jus about Kei

Quotegoingmad Quoteliddas QuoteHardRiffin A good album ruined by Watt production. I like it way more than the previous 3. Thanks to Watt? C Very good work from Watt, a good album far better than the previous 3 This. Best album in some time from PJ, good blend of melodic and louder songs. I have one moan, 35-40 gbp for single disc vinyl in uk is outrageous. HD was like 30 quid

In the 1980s/90s, Madonna and Michael Jackson were hyped as the Queen & King of Pop .... but how much of this hype will be left after 50 years? Curious on this one so just looked it up.
