Urban Steel, first of all many many thanks for all your great posts, i have downloaded a lot of terrific stuff. i am having a little problem with some tracks on this one namely disc 1 track 10, disc 2 tracks 1,2,5,6,7 and 9. Rocky, I have to agree with you here. I strongly believe that people in 50 years time will be listening to the Stones as avidly and as passionatley as we do now. They will likely have a perspective we possibly don't have now on the Stones as both a live and recording band. I think albums such as VL and B2B will have their day in the sun and will be appreciated for what they are and not just

Just arrived back in Dublin from Copenhagen and I had a great time. This was a better show than the one I saw in Paris in june, the band were much tighter I thought and the sound was great from where I stood. Keith was in great form I thought, I'm no musician but he didn't seem to me to put a foot wrong all night. I agree also that his stage patter was much more coherent than it can be!

Regarding the train strike, my memory is that trains were available early in the day but I was warned when buying my ticket that they could not guarantee there would be trains back to London later. Sure enough,the strike went ahead and I and many, many others trekked the whole way back towards central London.

I hate to be pessimistic but as a veteran of 5 Slane concerts, getting back to Dublin afterwards can be a bit of a nightmare. 11 times 1982 - wembley, slane castle 1990,1995,1999 - wembley 2003 - point theatre dublin *2, wembley arena 2006 - MSG, Vienna, Glasgow looking back i wish i had managed to get to more but the european tours tended to coincide with my children being born so i suppose i did'nt do too badly! There has been some chatter on Dublin radio stations about a Stones show this summer.Today the Mail on Sunday Irish edition has a story stating that there are currently advanced negotiations going on about a show in Croke Park in June. I am not sure how reliable this is but hears hoping it's true....
