Necrophilia - to my knowledge so far the only existing copy including the artwork. Bought it in London for about 6,500 GBP back in 1993. Unfortunatelly I had to sell it after 10 years but it helped me to buy a new car and to finance an expensive kindergarten for my son. It was worth it ;-) btw - the version of "Aftermath" on the bootleg-CDs isn't exactly the same as on the aceta

I'll post it on Dime later today. If memory serves me well mine is a copy from the Master-tape of the entire show without cuts. But we'll see when I get back home in the afternoon. silkcut

WeLove You wrote "I'm actually slightly disappointed that they have added tracks" me too, might have been better to leave it as it was initially released (same songs, same artwork) and as an extra they could have included some songs in their stereo-mixes for the completists. Or as a final chance they could have released the original planned version (3LPs with songs like King Bee

QuoteskipstoneLegit? Yeah, for ABKCO. Another version of Hot Rocks. Waste of money personally. Just another reason for ABKCO to get your money with the same old catalog vomited into a different order with a different cover. I think you forget that in Europe we grew up with the original Rolled Gold which was the first Big Hits-compilation spanning the entire 60s. Always loved that one and person

There are more variations - there's also on artwork with a pic. from the Stones-stay in Vienna in 1965 (Gloriette), a so-called stairway-cover. But a typical 5Head is this one (they all look the same except for the inserted titles and of course the different backside variations):

Hi UrbanSteel - thanks for the info. What you have on the backside is the so called "long bio" - the short bio misses the promos (Weitere Platten der Rolling Stones & Ein LP-Bestseller) and the red letters "The Rolling Stones" above the text have another layout then on your copy. But anyway, you're artwork isn't a 5Kopf/5Head variation. I can't give you a

Thanks for the infos guys - wasn't aware of the fact that K/T (or else) is/was a tax code. I'm at office as well at the moment and I'm curious how much different tax code-variations I have of each single. straycat - if I got you right the tax code must have changed over the years and and initial pressing of Come On could have another tax code as a later edition? anyway, I'm a

Another question, now for the German (?) collectors out there: - 5 Heads only - I have 2 different sleeves for the 1st single (Wanne Be Your Man - short bio & long bio), the same for Not Fade Away (short, long) BUT I have It's All Over Now (5 times) and Time Is On My Side (2 times) only with the long bio on the back. Reprints (counterfeits) from the 80s are available with both

Maybe there's somebody out there (JR, straycat) who's able to answer my question - I'm trying to complete my UK 45-collection (something I sadly missed in the last decades when they were cheaper) and there's one thing I never noticed before (shame on me): it seems that DECCA UK switched from unboxed to boxed design of the 45s in late 66 - is that right? QuoteUrbanSteelMick Jagger & Keith Richards Wrote "Midnight Rambler"In Positano . June 12 , 2008 I think things are getting probably confused here. I once read in an old mag that they wrote Monkey Man in Positano and for instance Nico mentions the original working title of Monkey Man on his site (Positano Grande) which is more than a hint that MM was written there. The one you're talking bout here is the Prater Shuffle (so called "Italian source"). Vienna Hot night is a "new" source which never circulated before. Italian source: much hiss, loud audience but good sounding in a way new source: a bit burried but nearly no hiss, less audience and good sounding in another way hope that helps

I don't exactly understand what you're asking for but here (Austria) both versions still gets sold in the shops. So it wasn't made for export puposes. It's more like "buy the expensive but beautiful digipak or save money and buy the cheap jewel-case version". It was/is the same with Made In The Shade and Sucking In The 70s - both versions are on offer here. Hope t
