I think Kevin got busted. I had ordered 5 shows from him (not Stones) in mid-December. He sent two packages with 3 of the 5 shows in the span of one week. The other two have not shown up. His YouTube page is shut down and he is not responding to any e-mails.

Well, first off, he came into this 30 years down the road. At that time the Stones were already considered old grandfathers of rock. Bringing in a new member at that time would have just been weird. Also, the fact that he's not British and the fact that he's black also contrast sharply with the image the band has had its entire career. The Stones by definition are skinny, white E

1. No one is forcing you to buy it. Shut up and don't buy it and you won't feel ripped off. Some of us will gladly plunk down the cash and feel we got our money's worth. Don't buy it if you think it's a rip off. Plain and simple. 2. Don't blame the Stones. THIS IS COMMON PRACTICE IN THE INDUSRTY these days. The album's been out a couple months already,

They don't have the hits??? I'm by no means a U2 fanatic, but methinks they've had at least two dozen in the 25 years they've been doing this. It's true they don't have the mystery or the mystique that the Stones have -- and yes Bono is an ass -- but I don't think they have anything to prove. They've been at it a long time and continue to make good mus

Haven't heard a single note from the album played on the radio. I must admit I don't listen often, but we have a pretty big "classic rock" station here (Boston) that often plays new tracks from classic rock artists. I've yet to hear them play anything from the new album. Even with the local hysteria of the Fenway shows, when they were playing the Stones to death, I

If you're a completist like me, you need it. But, on the other hand, to me it ranks below "No Security" and "Live Licks" in the list of non-essential Stones albums.

I was just saying this to a friend the other day, he should have produced the new album, I think it would have been even better. Rubin just did an album with -- (gasp) -- Neil Diamond, and supposedly it's stripped of all the cheesy, Vegasy bullshit from the past 30 years and just features him and an acoustic guitar, they say it's the best thing he's done since the 1960's

Stones fans are jealous and have major chips on their shoulders about the Beatles. Both bands are great and both contributed more than any two other bands to the history of rock music. No need to put Macca down, that's just stupid.

Hated it the first time I listened. Started warming up to it on the second. By the end of the third listen, I was in love with the album. Very unusual to have Macca material that isn't instantly accessible or likeable. But it is a rewarding listen. It's no FLAMING PIE, but it's great for what it is -- a mature record with lots of depth.

MUSIC SALES ARE DOWN DRASTICALLY overall....When Voodoo Lounge came out, there was no such thing as online file sharing. These days, if you want an album, you can download it for free in minutes. It's no shock if sales are lower than they were 10 years ago, THAT'S THE CASE FOR THE WHOLE MUSIC INDUSTRY.

Think about this -- Britney, Justin, etc. -- that stuff is aimed at kids, who are the prime target demographic for the record industry. Old fogies DON'T BUY CD's as much as young kids do. The Stones audience on the whole has gotten older (despite always attracting younger people as well) and they aren't as prone to buy music. Kids buy CD's, 40-somethings tend to buy far

Yeah, it kinda feels like the song is being held together by a thread and could fall apart at any moment....but it never does! A more precise drum track may be too rigid for what the song needs.

This is definitely one of my favorite tracks on the new album, but I'm wondering -- is it just my ears or is the timing off in the drumming department? It's most noticeable to me when the music stops and starts again with a single snare beat between the first chorus & second verse. Sounds like they come back in too early, it doesn't sound natural. I'm curious if a

They're not touring as Queen, they're touring as "Queen + Paul Rodgers". They aren't trying to resurrect Queen so much as celebrate the music of the band by teaming up with another rock legend.

A few things I've realized now that the Stones have been around now for 43 years or so... That officially places UNDERCOVER in the first half of their career. Ronnie Wood has now been a Stone longer than Bill Wyman was. The amount of time that passed between the last full studio album (Bridges to Babylon) and the new album is roughly equal to the time from Between the Buttons to I

Anyone know what the deal was with Iommi being in Tull? Wasn't Black Sabbath already playing together by this time (Dec 1968)? I know he wasn't with them long enough to record anything, but did they ever play any shows together? For years I heard that the Stones felt their performance was sub-par, but upon its release I was blown away by how great they were. I can see how they may
