You can’t beat Blu-ray, the picture is always better if only marginally but the biggest gain is the song list being available while another song is playing, no backwards and forwards to main menus. I’m happy with the release.

I have many of the live releases on DVD and Blu-ray, the picture quality is better on the Blu-ray and the song menu can be opened while a song is playing g rather than having to go back to the menu as you have to with a DVD. It’s not night and day but there is a difference. I’m sure some will say there isn’t but if you have the Steel Wheels box set compare the two discs, you’ll see a difference.

All the sets are currently unavailable at Amazon.co.uk and at HMV.com . Makes me wonder if they’re going to push future sales from the Stones online store? If so, it will be to all our detriment as they are terrible in every way compared to Amazon.
