Nice interview - thanks for the link. Actually will be seeing Jordan perform tomorrow night - he is playing in John Mayer's band. Pino Palladino is on bass -- must admit, I am more excited to see them play, than I am Mayer --- though after seeing Mayer play with the Dead & Company 4 times - the guy definitely can hold his own. Wish Maron would have asked Jordan about Mayer and Palla

Can someone let me know who was playing the organ during You Can't Always Get What you Want? (thanks) Not sure if Matt Cliford slipped back ther after his horn bit - didn't really look like him though. Saw the movie in the theaters earlier this week -- really like the up above shots of Charlie's drums - thought their performance, over all, was good, but I enjoyed Glastonbury muc

I about halfway through this recording (Wild Horses just finished) - it does sound good. It's a pretty straight forward take on the album, I was hoping for a more funk/jazz rendition, but it does sound good. Osborne is great.

QuoteHotstuff hey folks, mr coltrane was into heroin the most part of his creative face, and his music ... Coltrane kicked heroin/drink around '57 - I'd say his most creative music came after that.

Hey Max, do you agree now that country music was an influence on at least Keith? (I did try to read through this thread - I did not catch it if you agree or not, in the beginning you stated you did not think so and I am not trying to start anything )

Barcelona show is indeed a great one. Only other shows I have are 6/6/84, Rotterdam and "What's Real?"London, England July 7, 1984. The London show has Clapton,Santana, Chrissie Hynde, and Van Morrison sitting in. Barcelona is my favorite of the three.

After reading the book, besides maybe the todger part, I don't think there was anything new regarding their relationship. All the negative stuff was brought out in the 80s and 70s. Plus, I don't think Jagger worries about the todger statement. Lastly, I don't think Richards will get booed.

Well I guess they turned him down on the final mix of the L&G dvd, which is a shame. His playing on Welcome To New York is great. Definitely can hear him in the mix. Esp. All the Down the Line. Was Stu also playing?

Only whiskey produced in the United States can be called bourbon.[1] Bourbon must be made from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn (maize).[2] Bourbon is whiskey, but it must meet the above (and a bit other) criteria to be called bourbon. I guess I prefer bourbon.
