It's not badly played IMHO. There's an indian feeling caused by many embellishments. At that time, Mick Jagger couldn't play at all those licks. It' quite hard to identify on which string instrument it's played.

I don't think so. I hear that part on "Gomper part 1 (Take 2)" too, after 4 minutes, til the end, with Bill Wyman still playing bass. A very indian-like instrument. Are we sure that the Stones ever performed live this song? The "Got Live If You Want It" version didn't sound at all like the others 1966 tracks. The intro and the outro sound quite like the studio version. Could this version could be a studio out-take?

There's only one guitar on the 1964 take, played by Keith I think. As the harp solo seems to be Mick, does that mean that Brian didn't play on "Key To The Highway" ?
