Since there’s a lot of talk regarding HD, has there been any more mention of the making of Hackney Diamonds documentary? I’m pretty sure it was mentioned by someone in the band or Watt shortly after HD was released.

Mick was quoted as saying to Keith they should put a deadline on HD sessions to make sure they finished it within a certain time frame. I think that worked to their benefit because I consider HD a truly great album. They seemed very focused and there was no filler like on the last several albums.

In 2019 the lucky dip wristbands got me and a friend through 3 security checkpoints and into the pit near the front of the stage. Each checkpoint shined a flashlight on them and waved us through without hesitation. They either didn’t know or didn’t care. Our lucky dip seats were up in mid level of the stadium.
