Quotetatters It's impossible for me to listen to the double live album without remembering that I spent all of Side Two looking for a place to take a leak, and all of Side Three returning from the place where I took a leak. For fully half of the concert, I was separated from my friend and nowhere even near to the Great Lawn. There were no video screens, so there was really nothing to see,

Quotetimbernardis Quotelem motlow It amazes me sometimes what a flaming douchebag Keith is. The dumbest gun owners are the guys who try to act cool with a weapon, you don’t use them to shoot golf balls or guitars to show everybody how wild you are and you don’t leave them laying around your junkie wife’s house so some depressed kid can blow his brains out. Fckng thing should be in one of two pl

Quotestones1969 Thank you. I appreciate your response. Yes, I've heard it might have been Michael Cooper, but I also heard the maze, anyway, was designed by Brian Jones. The problem with this album is that the information written about it doesn't seem to be very accurate. I was always led to believe it was a Japanese camera that was used to take the 3-D cover and it cost $25,000. I

Loved the band but never saw them live. Some of my friends when to the 1974 concert in NYC at the Uris Theater on Broadway (Queen opened up for them). Became part of the 1974 "Live" album. Had the albums All the Young Dudes (1972), Mott (1973 and The Hoople (1974). Great band....

QuoteAquamarine I only saw them once at a little festival in Kent back in the mid-70s--I was there for the Faces, so they were a pleasant bonus! Also Wavy Gravy and the free food. We had to leave halfway through the last band and afterwards I couldn't remember who they were, till years later I saw an article which informed me it was Pink Floyd playing the whole of Atom Heart Mother! They have obviously had more than one. Name two or three keeping it to a two year span. 1965-1966 - proved they were more than a one night stand. 1971-1972 - proved they are the greatest rock band in the world. 1980-1981 - proved they are (still) the greatest rock band in the world.

Bit off topic, but I see the Bears have purchased a large chunk of property outside of Chicago with the possible thoughts of building a new stadium. Would suck to see them move out of Soldier Fiel

Macca's first Big Apple performances since the Beatles second visit to Shea Stadium in '66. Beatles reunion rumors at a fever pitch, and Lennon potentially just a taxi cab ride away. This clip from a NYC TV News report really captures the moment. Thanks for the reminder tat
